What are the chances of Bell becoming a productive player ?

Wouldn't say zip and nil. But it's a awful thin Slim at this point.

Guy still has the skills, but he had no interest in taking on a blocker or taking down a running back last year. He could be seen hanging on ankles, diving at dirt, getting pancaked by tight ends and fullbacks all the time in 2005. And his pass rush weakened to the point that he found himself benched on third downs frequently. Much of Derrick Johnson's fantasy value on the strong side derived from the fact that Bell was sucktastic.

Hard to give up on him completely, but you have to wonder if he'll ever return to the player he once was. That groin injury shouldn't have affected his horrible tackling or effort last year. Maybe Herm can confuse him into playing to his talent in 2006.

Yet ourlads has him as starting ROLB???And KC has not signed any significant FAs or drafted and LBs???

Do they have that much faith in Guenther Cunningham?
