Kenny Britt (1 Viewer)

Titans WR Kenny Britt will play Week 7 against the Eagles, but will not start.

It's hard to recommend starting Britt against a top-9 pass defense given his distraction-filled weekend. Unless you're bone-dry for other options, look elsewhere for bye-week help this week. Justin Gage will get the start for Tennessee opposite Nate Washington.

From what I hear, re-Britt: Fisher is quite possibly putting Mariani at WR for a play or two before Britt goes in. Send a message about the 7th rounder that does everything the coach asks and always gives it his all versus the primadonna first rounder. Nothing for the three Mariani fans to get excited about, just a play or two to send a message.

Williams is very likely going to be worked into a rotation among the active WRs and not just used in mop-up duty.

just one quote but it might put Mariani vs Britt for a play or two in perspective as you clearly see why Fisher loves this kid:

From my point of view I will do whatever it takes. I would definitely feel comfortable as a returner, punt or kick. If they ask me to do that, I will be first in line. I think when you are trying to make a team, anywhere you go, whatever you can put on your resume as far as getting on the field it will help you. That will be a resource for me. Like I said I’m going to do whatever they ask and I’m just going to work my butt of every day and give it everything I got.

Is Scaife going to play?
They need him (and Craig) to help pickup the Eagles 10k blitzing defenders they'll send but he hasn't practiced all week.Cook has been ready to step up but fighting a numbers game and Craig's improvement as a receiver hasn't helped his cause. Scaife is also Vince's boy while Kerry treats him like any other target. ESPN read "very questionable" and tweets about him don't look promising.I think it's time to put Cook in more and Craig in more as a receiving TE. I don't see a big concern that he's irreplaceable except maybe as a red zone target.

I wish I could say that he's going to grow up one of these days (he was the youngest player in the league last year), but it looks like he's in need of some tough love if he's going to shape up.
Britt was the youngest player in the NFL last year I believe.
not only that, but he was the youngest player in the league last year.
People are saying he was the youngest player in the league last year.

I can honestly say as a Rutgers homer I'm shocked at how Britt has comported himself in the NFL. I don't think he's a thug, despite his issues. There was no indication of any of this during his 3 years at Rutgers. He was a really hard worker, never showboated despite his successes, was a great teammate. He was suspended once, along with Anthony Davis, for undisclosed reasons, which rumor has it involved marijuana. But as far as aggressive behavior, associating with the wrong crowd, poor work ethic, all that has cropped up since he entered the NFL.It's hard to believe someone could go from being the consumate teammate and team leader to this. Schiano and staff at RU must have done a great job of keeping Kenny focused, and now doesn't have (or want) that support system in place.I wish I could say that he's going to grow up one of these days (he was the youngest player in the league last year), but it looks like he's in need of some tough love if he's going to shape up. Very disappointing. Rutgers prides itself on developing hard-working, team-oriented players like Ray Rice, Devin McCourty, etc. and he's been tough to watch.
Britt was the youngest player in the NFL last year I believe. I don't he is a bad guy, just an immature star with a big bank account. Recipe for disaster at times.
Agreed. Fisher has really dealt with knuckleheads over the years and he will probably make him mature. I could however see a suspension from the team and maybe from the NFL.Fantasy wise: Drop him for say a BMW or better. He is dead weight right now, but with his talent and how VY was zoning in on him, he could be very valuable down the stretch. B- Hold if u canI wonder if I should drop him for Steve Johnson. If Steve scores again this week against Balt(name recognition), owners WILL try to trade for him.So this is what excites me these days? Drop Kenny "No Fightin in the Club, Gimme 20 Dollaz" Britt for Steve Johnson?
Both are studs! Fitz looks greaatttt. Glad i start him and Johnson!

WRs played out as I thought early on. No one's looked good recently.

Scaife was in there a bunch early on, haven't noticed him since.

No way am I dropping him now. Should have played him over M. Bush as my flex.

2 TDS and 146 yds

I'm laughing outloud here thinking about you guys predicting for him to be cut. 140 and 2.

And I'm pretty sure he hasn't had any other off the field incidents. Maybe I missed, one, but I don't remember one, which means this is his first offense and thus he won't even be suspended. He might get a stern phone call from the commish, but this is a non-story....

It is just my luck - I hope he doesnt get into trouble - as a Britt owner I just figure its my bad luck . . .

Lets just say we know who the #1 waiver wire pickup will be this week due to him being dropped like crazy this week,
I didn't see him dropped, but he did get benched due to questions about playing time (me included). It's the weird, off the field stuff that frustrates me in FF, as you just have no way to predict what a coach will do.

That's what I did. In my crappy work league, DX was available on the WW. I benched Britt for him...

Same. That's as dumb as I've felt in FF for some time. I read the DX thread and let it sway me....stupid. Once Gage was inactive, I should have rolled with Britt.

Yup, same here. Benched for a game  but had to see how Fished'd use him for *at least* a game or two before cutting a talent like that. Bet most treated him the same way. :)

I think it would be fair if everyone who benched him because of the bar fight gets one good punch to his face. I don't know what is worse, the fact that I traded him last week or the fact that the guy I traded him to benched him last minute.

SIDE NOTE: Anyone see his reaction on the sideline after he knocked the guy holding the sideline microphone over? Got up like some tough guy and didn't even extend his hand to help the guy up. He's a punk. Wish I didn't trade him though:)

The guy is a talent that can't be disputed and with the threat Johnson provides and defenses selling out to stop him, Britt has an opportunity to continue to be very good. The question is whether he can keep his head on straight.

Vince Young will neutralize him soon.
Collins is half the reason I benched Britt. Britt had 9 fantasy points on the first drive on Monday night and then Collins came in and didn't look to Britt at all. Who knew this was going to happen. An epic peformance by Britt.

Unbelievable.

Glad I was busy making escarole and beans before the games and didn't get online to bench him.

An awful lot of love for some horrible defense by the Eagles DBs. I mean real bad. Some were good plays by Britt but some "my grandma could have made".
