Kevin Jones Owners? (1 Viewer)

my guess is that he might be slightly limited due to the recovery time required after a game. Det plays GB on thanksgiving 4 days later, which is a more important game for them. So to keep him healthy and rested, he could see less work. Id assume that is why he is ranked low.

 They probaly want to keep that foot rested.

It's being reported that he may not even play this Sunday. He's riding the pine until Turkey day for me.

someone, in another KJ thread, posted a fantastic detailed summary of quotes and outlook on this. (why this board is so damn great)

talke about Duckett, the foot, the two games being so close, etc...

and how about he's facing the NYG D

#9 rushing D even with facing some good running offenses.

Maybe the thinking is a combination of factors...

1. NYG DST is coming together after a rough start, and they have proven they can get to the QB. (Although I am open to the counter-argument that this may result in an increase in targets for KJ.)

2. Detroit's awful rushing performance last week (although I know KJ posted a score).

3. Early-week concerns about the sore foot (which seem to have been alleviated).

That's what comes to mind for me. At this point, I am sitting KJ for Portis.

That's a no-brainer. Portis should be started over KJ any week...
