I think the Michael Bennett comparison is decent in terms of running style and abilities. Remember Michael Bennett was pretty good back in the day.Didn't Brian Calhoun tear his ACL? I doubt the Lions would feel secure expecting him to carry the load next year.I'm sure the Lions will do due diligence on all available QBs and RBs given where they're drafting and their needs. They could always draft Quinn in round 1 and another good back in round 2-3 again. Plus bring in a veteran to compete for the job.

Bennett is (was) much faster IMO.My guess...Quinn round 1 and Marshall Faulk as a FA plug for a year.

Lions RB Kevin Jones' recovery from surgery on his left foot to repair a Lisfranc injury is on schedule thus far. He will soon move from his cast to a walking boot, and he remains optimistic about his recovery. The more telling milestone, however, will come in 8-10 weeks, when he is able to begin rehabilitation.

I actually am a student in Blacksburg and just got back from a restaurant downtown. He walked in with his wife (? maybe, she had a big rock on her hand) and sat next to our table. He wasnt walking with any noticable limp or a boot. He actually looked pretty good from what I can tell. He is jacked though and was sporting some impressive facial hair.

I wish I had no respect for privacy because I didnt want to bother him while he was sitting at a table. I may be going out again tonight or later this week so he may be hopping around for whatever reason. If I get the chance to talk to him, Ill be sure to post something here.

(for those of you who dont know, Blacksburg really dies down during non football season. It sure wouldnt suprise me to see him elsewhere this weekend)
