It's just scary to see how they've shut down RBs. I keep remembering Ronnie Brown's -2 rushing effort. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only RBs to put up quality points against them were both RBs serving backup roles (D. Williams and C. Benson). KJ saved my season this year with SA out, but I still have no problem sitting him this week in favor of Houston or Bush.

The Viking run D is not as good as the numbers would have you believe. They are so horrendous vs the pass, that teams don't run much against them.

KJ is a huge part of the passing game. I look for 75rec yards & 50-75 rush yards, with a TD. Not a bad day. I am starting him.

Guy gets virtually all the carries for his team, plus is one of the few running backs who is a legitimate threat to put up a 100 yard receiving day. No way do I bench him, ever.

I definitely think he'll have a better game than last time. He only had 10 carries, which is weird since the Lions actually had the lead going into the 4th Q.

The Vikings (as a team) aren't playing as well as they were earlier. So hopefully, the game will be close and the Lions won't abandon the run. Although with Martz, he can be winning and still abandon the run.

KJ should get a minimum of 20 touches (15 carries with 5 catches seems reasonable) with a chance of 27. I'm hoping for 110 total yards and possibly a TD.

If I get 100-125 total yards plus a score (as a bonus), I'll be giddy. He's starting for me.

i'm nervous. seems like it'll be feast or famine for KJ owners. but maroney's my only other option at RB, so i'm starting jones and not looking back.

wouldn't be surprised if he got 100 total yds, with a shot at a TD thrown in. not a lot for a playoff week, but enough to get you by so he doesn't kill you. that's my thinking anyway.

if its PPR there is no way you sit KJ. he's a lock for 4-8 catches and 20 touches. even if its a 15 carry 30 yard kind of game, 6 rec for 30 yds helps balance that out. he's proven to be an every week play when healthy (which he is)

In non-PPR leagues, I think you have to seriously consider benching KJ. IMO, his TD chances are low and I don't see his combined yardage breaking 100.

u could be rightbut to me it seems that teams only started game planning to throw against them because of how dominant their run def was the first 8 or so weeks. it wasnt until the pats exposed their secondary that teams realized the best chance against the vikes was to totally ignore the running game. my guess is kj will get a dozen carries tops, the gamble is if he can get involved in the passing game.i think he is still a solid rb2 this week.

Im definitely nervous about this game for him, and I need a win

Real tough decision for me. KJ or Henry against Houston

Both factors feed into each other. The reason their numbers against the run look so good is because teams do not try to run against them, and the reason their passing numbers look so bad is because teams spend all game throwing the ball. Their run defense has been unreal this year. Teams just are not getting anywhere trying to run the ball against this D line. I would put k. Jones at 25 yards rushing and 50 recieving for 75 total. This from a Lions fan stuck living in MN. This run defense is really good. I also look for MN to pound the ball on the ground with or without Taylor. They ran for huge chunks the first time they met.

Hell no.

The Vikes have arguably the best run D in the league, and Jones disappears against good Ds.
Guess last week'd 130ish total yards against the NUMBER TWO rushing team (at that time) in the Patriots.Look at the stats before posting in such absolutes.

100 total yards and 35% chance of score.

Hate to change up the lineup in the playoffs and have it backfire, but I am leaning towards benching KJ (and TJ) for MBIII.

You only need 1-5 yards to punch in a goalline TD. Kitna/Roy/Furrey should be enough to get him in range to get some goalline ops IMO. KJ himself could have upwards of 50+ receiving yards. That right there is enough to get him into the double digits.

I'm confidently starting him this week, even though my only other alternative is Cadillac Williams.

I think we'd all pretty much agree that KJ won't do much rushing-wise. Maybe 12/36. Hopefully he gets a shot to punch it in at the goal line but that's purely luck, really.

The best chance KJ has is in the passing game. I'm planning on nothing rushing, but I'll be happy with 50+ receiving and a TD of any kind, which is definitely possible.

I don't have KJ, but the way I see this at this point the only guys I would not consider benching against the Minnesota Defense are LT and LJ. Outside of those two, I am not sure anyone is good enough to play against them unless I just have no other options.

If you have other options, I would strongly consider taking them.

Gameday, whos rolling the dice with KJ?I think Im going to over Henry
I am sitting him.MJD Betts will get the start for me.I am very leary of KJones against MINI am going with the gut on this one.I inserted Nate Washington on Thurday over Keysahwn or Evans, and that seems like it may have apid off, so I will continue to follow the gold ole gut

Going KJ over Bush... very tough decision but you gotta think KJ is the featured back and will get plenty of touches.

Starting KJ, counting on 4-5 receptions for solid day and maybe a TD for a very good day.

I am dancing wiht the one who brung me. (Bum said something like that)

RB Kevin Jones suffered an ankle injury in Week 14 and did not return. After getting stuffed at the goal line, Jones' foot appeared to get crushed beneath the pile. He stayed down for several minutes, eventually being helped off the field and carted into the locker room. Jones missed time with ankle problems earlier this season, so this is a concern. He had negative three yards on nine carries before leaving, but did catch six passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. Dec. 10 - 3:59 pm et

i dont think it has anything to do with the ankle guys

i thought it looked like his foot got crushed

im still banking on broken foot out for year

I could be wrong but it looked like his ankle, because they were messing with his ankle when he got hurt. I am purely guessing, but I think it was his ankle. It did not look good no matter what it was. It sucks too, because he is good! He made some great plays today and the other clowns (RB's)on their team are not playing too good, because I don't think they are very good at all.
