Kick/Punt Return Points (1 Viewer)

Drafting for my first time with this category for points. The league awards 2 points for every 10 yards. Seems generous (but I don't know). I'm curious how people take this into account during your draft. I didn't find anything in DD on this to modify projections. Although my draft begins in hours!

After reveiwing the kick and return yards for last year, there were some players who I would not have drafted but maybe they deserve a roster spot (1,000+ yards = 200+ points). That is mid 20 WR rankings.

So, what have you done in other leagues? Do you draft a KR/PR with limited position point potential. I.E., where does Tab Perry or D. Hall rank?

Clearly, this increases players like Bush.

2 pts for 10 yards is insane. Not sure how in line it is with the rest of your scoring.

But it should make any guys who return viable starters.

Jacoby Jones should be good. Bush obviously huge. Hester should be startable WR2.

And pretty much anyone who is fulltime PR/KR should have value.

But FWIW that scoring seems high.

I've set up my league to award 1/30 KR yards and 1/15 PR yards, with 8 pt TDs and yardage bonuses (basically if a guy has a big game returning it's huge points, but if he just has an average day it's only a couple of points, which makes sense IMO)

I was trying to stay away from discussing my specific situation since we are in the Shark Pool. Basically, if you have scoring for WR as 1 point per 10 yards and return points of 2 points per 10 yards, I'm thinking you should be taking a PR/KR much sooner than I have in the past (when KR/PR was not available).

I guess it just surprised me when I saw the return yards for some of these players. I'm thinking my WR2/WR3 position might be more of a returner than WR.

Is this what others have done or am I off base?
