Will he be 3 down DE? Moved to SLB again? Haven't heard any news about him but he seems way to talented to ever take off the field and if he is a 3 down DE; we might have a sleeper alert.

Found this, but its a little outdated

Giants defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan confirmed that he will keep a three-end rotation of Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora, and Mathias Kiwanuka.

Kiwi won't start, but he will be in on nickel situations or sub-defense on third-down, which Sheridan said will amount to 50-55% of time every game. Kiwi still has good sack potential, but his tackle numbers will suffer this season.

The above note still holds.

Kiwanuka is unlikely to get any significant snaps in the base defense at end and there are no plans to move him back to linebacker. Right now, his best chance at numbers is in the five man nickel front the Giants have been using in practice. If they use that a significant percentage of the time, he might reach the 50-55% of the defensive snaps suggested by Sheridan. There are just too many options on that defensive line to trust that he'll get every nickel snap otherwise.

I missed the game last night, was he on the bench during 1st and 2nd down?
