They should go all the way and call them the New York Bills. We don't have any New Jersey teams, that's part of why I'm a Bengals fan!-QGThey could move to Toronto and still call themselves the Buffalo Bills. It would subliminally make people thing they are still in the states. That seems to work fine for the New Jersey teams.
buffalo has some pretty die hard fans. they should sell the team to them, forgo having an owner, and let the stockholders elect a board of directors.
Buffalo Bills of Toronto
And New York isn't in New Jersey, so what's your point? One problem (other than the fact that the name stinks): Buffalo isn't on Lake Ontario.
You're not throwing a bone to the people in Buffalo by calling the team "Lake Ontario." It would be like if you moved the Yankees out of New York to Philadelphia, and said "hey, we'll call them the New Jersey Yankees so the guys in New York don't get pissed." It makes no sense.(By the way: Philadelphia is closer to New York than Toronto is to Buffalo.)And New York isn't in New Jersey, so what's your point? One problem (other than the fact that the name stinks): Buffalo isn't on Lake Ontario.
What's the other part? They should go all the way and call them the New York Bills. We don't have any New Jersey teams, that's part of why I'm a Bengals fan!-QGThey could move to Toronto and still call themselves the Buffalo Bills. I would agree that would be the best thing to do but whats to say they don't keep the name like the raiders, rams, colts & cards did?If the team eventually moves 100% to Toronto they should leave the Bills name in Buffalo and move on.Like the Baltimore Ravens did when they left Cleveland.
Boomer and they're coolWhat's the other part? They should go all the way and call them the New York Bills. We don't have any New Jersey teams, that's part of why I'm a Bengals fan!-QGThey could move to Toronto and still call themselves the Buffalo Bills. Lake Ontario Bills sounds horrible.

Without the Buffalo part the name the Bills is kind of silly.
Yeah really tough to score drugs in Canada...Super King said:I DO NOT want to have to cross the border just to go to a Bills game. I wouldn't be able to bring any "party supplies" to the game. I don't know any dealers in Canada.
