No he won't. Because this team is pure garbage.Ajayi will be good in 2016 - he just needs to stay healthy. Miami has too many other needs as recent games have shown.
Anyone who thinks Campbell was ever running this team is deluding himself.32 Counter Pass said:The honeymoon with Campbell was too short. It is clear he is in over his head. +1 hoping Miller signs elsewhere this offseason.
Right now I give it 50-50. The BS they are pulling with him hopefully helps him out the door. DeAngelo took less to stay and was totally misused and under used. He thanks the Panthers for the big bank account and little wear and tear on his body. Miller could easily do the same.Who knows what Miller is really thinking, but one would have to think that the odds of him leaving via FA just went up sharply after being pulled yesterday.
Assuming the Dolphins make him a credible offer, it probably boils down to how much he loves Miami and willing to take a home team discount. That, and how much he wants to be a clear lead dog somewhere else as opposed to sharing with Ajayi.
Given that he's a competitive athlete, I am guessing he will take the money and starting gig somewhere else and spend his offseasons in Miami.
Not overly relevant here, but I don't recall a lot of teams throwing money at Williams for whatever reason (could be wrong though). In any event, he got $43 million/5 years so it was pretty easy for him to stay at that price.Right now I give it 50-50. The BS they are pulling with him hopefully helps him out the door. I think Williams was a bit older at that time too, so maybe not as many teams who woudl have wanted him. Miller is only 24. Still has 4-6 solid seasons in him. Be a shame for him to waste them in Miami. Not overly relevant here, but I don't recall a lot of teams throwing money at Williams for whatever reason (could be wrong though). In today's NFL, no way will Miller command that kind of money, so the money in and of itself may not be a huge determining factor.
Williams was a couple years older. 2011. He was 27 I believe off his original rookie contract. They did offer a boatload to stay. It probably was more than any other team so it is different. I owned Williams at that time and knew fantasy wise it was not going to be good. The same will happen to Miller if he resigns. Even regime change did not help Williams.I think Williams was a bit older at that time too, so maybe not as many teams who woudl have wanted him. Miller is only 24. He is a local. If they match his best offer and bring in an actual professional coaching staff, maybe they can convince him that they will utilize him, and maybe he would stay. I am not convinced that either of those things will happen though, so I believe he is gone. Still young enough to have a very good career, maybe make a pro bowl or two. Maybe even sniff a playoff game one day.if he can make great money and play for a contender that knows how to utilize the talent they have ,why would he stay in Miami ?
Nope. He's not being the yes man they (the inept coaching staff) apparently think they deserve. Is he startable next week?
I disagree. I thnk he's plenty startablelod01 said:Nope. He's not being the yes man they (the inept coaching staff) apparently think they deserve.Too bad he's not the "I'll show you" type of guy. NE could use a stud 3 down back.starks said:Is he startable next week?

Interesting. We shall find out this weekend fi they are giving him the Marcus Allen treatment.Awesome point.230 yards short of his second straight 1000 yard season, and he has come out publicly and said it is important to him. If they want to have any shot at keeping him next year, you would think they would do what they can to keep him happy. They are also getting lambasted by local media for the misusage of him. I think he gets 20+ carries this week. Staring with the utmost confidence.
What do they have to gain? I mean is that the message you want to send to upcoming free agents as you try to tebuild? Come to Miami, we stonewall our own guys. If they haven't seen enou from Ajayi to know if hes their guy by now, the next two, weeks aren't going to change anything. IMO you run miller into the ground to save your workhorse from getting hurt in a meaningless game (Ajayi). Sure I'm biased but that makes sense from a practical standpoint.Or they prevent him from getting to 1k yards.I disagree. I thnk he's plenty startablelod01 said:Nope. I'm starting both. For some reason Karlos is questionable now??zed2283 said:So what are we doing with him this week? Seems to have a juicy matchup against the Colts.
I have to decide between Miller and Karlos Williams.
Been a big Miller supporter all season. I'd roll with Karlos in this one. I cant see putting Miller in over anyone who I think will get 15+ touches. Too much lunacy in South Florida right now.zed2283 said:So what are we doing with him this week? Seems to have a juicy matchup against the Colts.

Yeah, I'm leaning this way. But I can't get that Houston game out of my head and what Miller did from the get-go against that weak defense. Same thing against the Giants just two weeks ago on just a few touches.Been a big Miller supporter all season. I'd roll with Karlos in this one. This is what I'm doing. I actually feel very good about having this option. Cowboys run D is a sieve, and they have nothing to play for on the road, in the cold. I'll be very surprised if Karlos isn't a top 5 RB this week.Been a big Miller supporter all season. I'd roll with Karlos in this one. You are questioning why people are ranking Miller over Artis-Payne??Rankings out today across many sites.
"Experts" continue to rank L. Miller as if he's a solid RB2.
Don't get it.
Dodds, Bloom, Tremblay all rank Miller ahead of the big name plug ins for this week: C. Michael, C. Artis-Payne, etc.
This is me. I'm rolling with him in good times and bad. Can you imagine if you over thought it and benched him and he went off for like 2 tds? With this much money on the line I'm going with my strategy of always playing the studsYou are questioning why people are ranking Miller over Artis-Payne??Rankings out today across many sites.

Miller can bust a long TD on one play. Artis-Payne could play all day and put up bad production. At the end of the day, you gotta figure at worst it's a time share and Miller is still a stud.
Miller got me here, I'll sink or swim with him. If he explodes while I bench him for the waiver player of the week, I'd regret it for a long time.
Indy would be OK as well.Dallas is the best option for Miller because of surrounding talent and Garrett's history of leaning on a cowbell RB. Other friendly landing spots would be IND, BALT, CAR and HOU.
Other enticing landing spots are OAK, NYJ or NYG.
I do not want Miller signing with NE, no way, no how. I do not want any part of dealing with BB and his random use of RBs!

Garrett is gone after this year, imo. The fact he couldn't even compete in that division this year is pretty telling.Dallas is the best option for Miller because of surrounding talent and Garrett's history of leaning on a cowbell RB. Other friendly landing spots would be IND, BALT, CAR and HOU.

My understanding is that Jerry is still a very strong supporter of Garrett. Has he said something different recently?Garrett is gone after this year, imo. Interesting thinking...over Johnson???I'm sitting him for Woodhead chark and David Johnson
Lol see that now...time for bedI'm sitting him for Johnson
Im really really looking for a reason to start him this week. Would you mind elaborating on your gut feeling? The reason he missed the 2nd half last week is very cloudy.I have this gut feeling Miller goes off this week.
