Theres your second mistake - the first was not already knowing this before this season.Once Coughlin
You are right it has nothing to do with not making plays, fumbling or being ineffective. Both talented but handicapped by their coaches.
Miller and Wilson can't make plays? Okay.....You are right it has nothing to do with not making plays, fumbling or being ineffective. Both talented but handicapped by their coaches.
Since when is not predicting someone to fumble twice in the opening game against a division rival considered a mistake?Theres your second mistake - the first was not already knowing this before this season.Once Coughlin
I saw someone on twitter describe daniel thomas' running as "turning and backing into defenders".short term Miller appears to the be getting the best chance to shine....... but I think Wilson has a better chance of living up to the lofty preseason hype still (if still possible)
better offense .... maybe a little more natural talent.... plays the Eagles twice
neither IMO have anyone on the roster that is better than them and deserves carries.
Pretty sure that someone cried on national tv last year after fumbling. Just saying.Since when is not predicting someone to fumble twice in the opening game against a division rival considered a mistake?Theres your second mistake - the first was not already knowing this before this season.Once Coughlin
Pre-season doesn't count...Miller and Wilson can't make plays? Okay.....You are right it has nothing to do with not making plays, fumbling or being ineffective. Both talented but handicapped by their coaches.
Does last year count?Pre-season doesn't count...Miller and Wilson can't make plays? Okay.....You are right it has nothing to do with not making plays, fumbling or being ineffective. Both talented but handicapped by their coaches.
How about college? Does that count?Pre-season doesn't count...Miller and Wilson can't make plays? Okay.....You are right it has nothing to do with not making plays, fumbling or being ineffective. Both talented but handicapped by their coaches.
lol says the guy that obviously is a fantasy football guru. Would love to see the makeup of your awesome team since you know you must be the shiznit. The real frauds are all of you chumps who drafted them as anything more than a flex with upside.
If they were making plays we wouldn't have this thread now would we?Pre-season doesn't count...Miller and Wilson can't make plays? Okay.....You are right it has nothing to do with not making plays, fumbling or being ineffective. Both talented but handicapped by their coaches.
Thinking that Coughlin cares about your fantasy team or the NFL equivalent of those decisions is the mistake. Forever, thats how long Coughlin has benched players for turning over the ball - regardless of the situation, regardless of the player.Since when is not predicting someone to fumble twice in the opening game against a division rival considered a mistake?Theres your second mistake - the first was not already knowing this before this season.Once Coughlin
I have these two, plus CJ Spiller, as my top three RBs. So yeah......good times.good thing i have both AND mathews, ivory, leveon bell.... my roster is a wasteland of 2013 RB busts
That's just not true. Interceptions are turnovers. Not to mention he let Bradshaw play through some fumbles.Thinking that Coughlin cares about your fantasy team or the NFL equivalent of those decisions is the mistake. People clamoring that Coughlin is a bad coach, or that if he wants to win games he'll start his most talented back seem to not realize that Coughlin has done just fine winning games and hes always been this way. Thinking that he is gonna change his mind because Wilson is so talented is a) elevating Wilson to a level he isn't and b) absolutely unheard of.
Bold strategy cotton.I am going to gladly sell low on both. Right now Wilson looks like the the bigger bust. Miller is being held back by coaching.
Wilson is far from Coughlin's doghouse. Right now it's a combination of:Wilson is just in the doghouse because of fumbling issues. Once Coughlin figures out that nobody else on his roster can carry the rock reliably, he'll grit his teeth and put Wilson back in. For Wilson, it's opportunity.
For Miller, he's just not gotten it done. He was a product of the hype of this astounding-but-not-really Miami breakout season. Yes, he's the lead back on an NFL team, but that just speaks to opportunity. That's it.
Answer: Miller is the fraud. But that doesn't make owning Wilson feel any better.
This is true, but if you watched Scott and Jacobs this week they both aren't even deserving of being rostered by NFL teams. Eventually, the Giants have to see that. I feel like Wilson's snap count also grew a lot in this game. And should continue to grow as he shows to be the only real back they have to put behind Eli. He looked significantly better running than both Scott and Jacobs and his pass blocking was much better than Scott's. Who let up 2 sacks in this game by taking some of the worst pass blocking angles I've ever seen. But with the way the o-line is playing... 75% of 50 yards a game still is benchable until further notice. That's just not true. Interceptions are turnovers. That's why Wilson owners are so frustrated. The punishment isn't fitting the crime. Of course, having to run behind that o-line is its own punishment.
