Priest outscored LJ in my main money league by only 4 points, not impressive especially when it's clear Priest has lost that extra gear and still doesn't look like he is fully recovered. I will be SHOCKED if Priest can stay injury free all year.
See, that's the problem. You weren't advocating starting Johnson over Holmes. You were advocating starting Johnson against other RBs guaranteed of 20+ touches. Guys like Stephen Davis, Thomas Jones, Cadillac Williams, etc, etc, etc.Backpedal all you want. Your premise was that Johnson was now a quality starter, and my premise was that any RB who wouldn't even get 10 touches can't be considered a quality starter.
And I also believe that Priest is still the better RB. Johnson had a couple of nice runs, but the second anyone got a hand on him, he went down. Holmes managed to make something out of nothing, get yards when there wasn't much there. And Holmes is better in the passing game.
Also, Holmes didn't take himself out of the game because he ran for 15 yards. He took himself out of the game because he got a stinger on the play.
Sounds like sour grapes, to me. You read way too much into one week, you got burned, and now you're making excuses.
