He has an easy matchup against Denver this week. Is he a good option this week to start? What kind of numbers are you expecting from him?

21-145-2

3-45

You can pretty much just add these numbers to your score for the week as if the game has already been played.

I'm starting him over Kevin Smith (duh) and MBIII. Though I don't expect anything near his OAK performance from earlier this year, I supposed it's possible, but I'd be pleased with 90 and a touch.

The problem with LJ isn't LJ. It's Herm. Once Denver gets a 2 score lead Herm will abandon the run and pass pass pass punt the rest of the game. LJ gets 12 carries kind of game. I hope not since I'm starting him, but how can you possibly have confidence in this team?

except that kc won by two scores in the 1st meeting. i've had a hard time predicting how denver and kc will do all year. these used to be teams where i'd base my entire decision on home vs. away as they are two of the biggest home field advantages in football. i'll try to go against my usual and say denver wins in a high scoring affair, so LJ will get opportunities, but don't expect 100+.

I saw this stat on FFtoday:"LJ has played in 8 games; in the 4 games that he received 20+ carries he has averaged 121 rushing YPG and scored 4 TDs. In the 4 games with 19 carries or less, he has averaged 43 YPG and scored 0 TDs."So it looks like, from past trends, that if LJ gets the opportunities, he will get over 100. With Herm at the helm that's a big if though.

i'm not sure why KC even rosters RBs. It's like the think Tyler Thigpen is the second coming of Joe Montana

Larry Johnson = garbage

Larry Johnson is irrelevant from this point forward, time to hang up the cleats, he won't be drafted in the top 5 rounds if he decides to play next season.

Since I added Fin's numbers for LJ to my score like he said, I still have a shot to make the playoffs. Need 17 points from Matt Bryant tomorrow.

I have a theory. I think Herm knows what he has in LJ obviously. Also, he knows LJ was run into the ground a few years back and has since had injury issues last year and this year. What Herm wants to find out is how good his QB really is. So why not use the remainder of this season to find that out, while ensuring LJ does not add too much wear to his tires? It is not about winning games. It is about finding out if Thigpen is the answer for next year and keeping LJ fresh for next year. Collect all your data now. If the Chiefs can find a couple of OL upgrades in the offseason between FA and the draft, that O can score with the best of them with Bowe, Bradley, Gonzo, Thigpen and LJ/Charles.

Just my 2 cents.

Herm, along with several other NFL coaches/executives should face the death penalty (figuratively) and never be allowed to coach again (or even watch another NFL game in real seats, standing room only from the upper deck in the end zone for these clowns.)

"You play..to win..the game!"Not that I disagree with your take on this. I just think Herm is a clown who likes to spout off sound bites but doesn't really know what he's doing. He turns good teams into bad ones. Dave Wannstedt, part 2.
