I'm in a dynasty start-up draft which scores 1pt/tkl, 2pts/big play, 6pts/td on defense, so heavily tackle biased. I've already got deangelo hall and ron bartell at CB but am looking for another solid back-up. Don't want to list all the players taken, but the main guys have been taken so I need someone a bit off the radar. Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks.

As an aside, I'm keen on doing a redraft league as well, but most seem to exclude non-US residents which doesn't help when you live in the UK - does anyone know of one where I would still be ok to participate. Thanks.

Leigh Bodden, Chris Johnson

You might want to vet Chris Johnson pretty thoroughly.

I thought he'd make a good sleeper a little earlier, but it sounds like he might be splitting time rather than getting the full fledged start.

andre goodman will get picked on a lot because he's opposite champ bailey.

jabari greer is the new #1 CB in NO.

guys like mckelvin (Buff) and rodgers-cromartie (AZ) are starting their second year in the league as starters, i think.

leonard and elam are new starting S's on their teams.

thanks for the tips. I'll have a look at them. Any thoughts on a re-draft that includes non-US residents? Thanks.

** Chris Johnson will win the left cornerback job, not because of what he did himself, but because of what Routt didn't do when he was on the field -- namely, cover anyone.

Routt took over for Nnamdi Asomugha on the second drive of the game, and was promptly burned by Roy Williams on a 12-yard comeback. Routt added a defensive holding two plays later, and got worked by tight end Jason Witten on an 8-yard touchdown pass to end the drive.

Yes they areI like Sean Smith Miami. Leaks out of camp are he's head and shoulders ahead of Vontae Davis. He's big and Physical Davis is faster.

Jeff Darlington covers the Miami Dolphins for the Miami Herald.

Im hearing the staff privately thinks Sean Smith is "head and shoulders" above Vontae Davis right now. And that's not a knock on vontae.

Thanks. I haven't looked at Smith. Up until now, I've been leaning towards Ken Lucas. I'll see how Smith measures up.

Could be rookie corner rule, but Lucas is available and you're looking at rookies?Consider this-if he does start he could be picked on a lot. This is also from Darlington

Q: How do you think our defensive backs will do this year against the likes of T.O. Randy Moss and others?

ANSWERED 08/04/09 11:53:31 BY JEFF DARLINGTON

A: It's going to be a hell of a challenge, Ken. The good news is, Miami has made a very deliberate effort to build their secondary with big-bodied defensive backs capable of the type of aggressiveness required to cover those guys you mentioned. It will be particularly interesting to see how the Dolphins attempt to match up against those guys. Depending on the progressions of Sean Smith (6-foot-5), I could see Miami trying to take advantage of Smith's height by matching him up against someone like T.O. or Moss. Of course, that's also a scary thought, considering the cornerback position requires some experience when trying to cover two players with such a deep understanding of the passing game. The Dolphins would be better served with some experience back there aside from Will Allen, but they'll instead have to take a trial-by-fire approach. The talent is there, though. It's just a matter of getting down the tendencies.

I picked him up in a 16 team 2 CB started dynasty for $1. He's tall and physical, what Parcells likes.
