Coles' production over the first two weeks of the season can't be overlooked. He seems to be fully healed from the toe injury and plays on a team that will likely be playing from behind most of the year. Pennington sure looks like he is throwing rainbows out there, but he has been effective.

The question most fantasy owners who drafted Coles now becomes, how do you get him on the field? Personally, I am thinking of starting him over Chad Johnson this week, as the Steelers D should be fired up and CJ has started off kinda slow.

How bout everyone else - who are you benching to get Coles into your lineup?

Housh is banged up and on my bench, so luckly I haven't had to struggle with this one. However, once Housh comes back I'll probably start Coles over S. Moss until Moss starts showing something more than what he has to this point.

EVERYBODY

When fantasy magic starts happening, you rub the Buddha, say a few Hail Marys and Our Fathers and hold on hoping the rides'a gonna last. :pickle:

I have Holt, Mason, Coles, and Evans.

I am not sure who I am starting... Definitely Holt and Coles....

I have to decide between Mason, Maroney, Rhodes for the flex...

Drafted Driver, Chambers, Coles and Mason this year - has to be the most solid WR core I've ever had. Started the season with Driver and Chambers, and haven't brought myself to bench either for Coles. I'm thinking of trading Coles off while he's hot to bolster my running backs.

Why not sit Chambers until he proves worthy of a roster spot? The way Daunte is playing, I wouldn't hesitate to insert Coles into your lineup.

I agree. Chambers could certainly light it up if Daunte gets his feet under him, but I'd ride the hot hand here.

Am I the only one trying to trade the guy?

Yeah, it's magical, but do you really think he's going to go for 1600/8 this year?

I wouldnt have thought the same about a lot of guys. Its always some marginally talented would-be malcontent that comes up with stuff like this. I still can't figure out why we have 5'9 guys getting 10 catches per week and no one can stop em, but I'm all for it. :lmao:

I really can't figure out who to start between Ward, Walker, A.Bryant & Coles.. Guess I'll just continue to play the match-ups and start the wrong guys every week :bag:

Oh and I also have Housh lurking on my bench, guess its a good problem to have tho

I can only start 2 out of this group so......

Coles @ Buffalo

Stallworth @ SF

Chambers vs. Tenn

Holt @ AZ

am leaning toward Holt and Stallworth this week.

I have CJ, Driver, Coles, Roy Williams, and A Bryant. Coles has been on my bench the first two weeks, but with the matchups this weekend, and Coles hot hand, I'm about 85% sure I'm going with Driver and Coles this week.

don't you hate it when you sit the hot hand for two weeks? i did the same thing...i plan on starting coles so if history repeats itself, he'll have 2 catches for 23 yards...

I hope youre not serious. Chambers is definately worth a roster spot. The Phins have played 2 good defenses so far, and Chambers had 59yds against PIT and 55 and a TD against Buffalo. Hes still 3rd in the NFL in targets (he has 5 fewer catches than Coles at this point and one more target...thats more indicative of CPeps play than Chambers'), and this weeks matchup against Tennessee looks pretty good. If he doesnt produce THIS week, maybe it would be time to bench Chambers, but this is NOT the week for him to ride pine.In start 3WR leagues, I dont see too many people having 3 better options than Chambers against Tennessee

You are right...I wasn't trying to insinuate that you should Drop Chambers...only that he should be benched for Coles until he proves worthy of a starting gig.

Man it is tuff for me. I also have Cotchery, D.Jackson, Driver and Jennings in a keeper league. It doesn't make a difference who I bench, they all have been producing.

LAVERANUES

LAH VER WAN OO WAYS.

How the hell is this name pronounced "LA VERN EE US"?

What was the question?...

This week Droughns at the flex, easy choice he's questionable and playing Baltimore. Next week I'm leaning toward sitting Roy Williams for Coles.
