LB Marshall vs. LB Martinez (1 Viewer)

In a very deep 16 team dynasty salary cap league, i have the opportunity to trade for either Denvers Marshall or Green Bays Martinez for nearly the same prize.

They both have 5 years of contract left. Mashall has a higher salary, but i have the cap space to carry it. His salary is the 13 highest for LB's in our league. Martinez is on a cheap contract for the next five years.

Trough the first 3 games Marshall is only scoring 1 point more than Martinez on average.

I like Martinez a lot, but Marshall is more established.

Witch LB do you guys think will be the best over the next 2-3 years?

Here are the most important scoring rules of the league:

Tackles 1.4

Assist 0.7

Sack 1.5 for every 0.5

QB hits 0.7

If Martinez hits and keeps his 3-down role, then I would vote for him based off of competition for tackles.  That DEN defense is downright nasty and Marshall has a lot more talent to 'beat' to the tackles.

I don't think Martinez is in a 3-down role at the moment.  His snap percentage is too low for that.  Marshall is on the field all the time and he is the much better (safer) play for this year.  Moving forward there are a lot of potential and questions for Martinez since they seem to be rotating LB's a lot.  I have both of these guys in my dynasty league and I would have more faith in Marshall at this point.
