Last night had an online yahoo draft for a low money league amongst some college friends. I'm not gonna bore you guys with details, but let's just say it went swimmingly for me. However, yahoo messed up and didn't process the completed draft and put the players on our teams. So now our commish is flustered and doesn't know what to do. The two options are either draft again tonight or try to see if everyone remembers their teams and insert it manually. Since I liked my team, remember it, and can't make the draft tonight I'd much prefer everyone remember their teams and insert manually but I understand that could create conflicts.

Anyone dealt with this before? How'd you handle it?

I believe everyone who drafts

writes down the players they picked.

There is no need for a re-draft, imo.

Exactly. Only people who dont think they drafted well would ever call for a redraft and they have no leg to stand upon.

agreed, but like i said this is low money and i'm guessing a lot of guys didn't write down their picks. i wanna fight this, but don't know how strong

Surely somebody recorded the whole thing like in the DD or in a spreadsheet or something. At the very least, everyone should have written down their own teams.

My league has the same problem as we drafted last night on yahoo as well.

We always keep a hard copy for this very reason btw. Half the league is there for the draft the other half online so we still break out the draft board in case of electronic issues.

you'd think they'd be able to access code to see who was taken in the drafts last night.

this sucks royally and there's been a slew of "i think i had these guys, but forgot my last two rounds and who my backup defense is..." etc.

If someone doesnt remember who they drafted, they are either trying to give themselves a better team with the hopes of a redraft, or got really drunk and drafted a crap team.

Either way they are screwed.

If I played in a league where people didnt keep track of their own picks, then I'd be mad as all H-E-double hockey sticks

make them remember or they are banished to waiver wire team assignments

I remember. I drafted LT, SJax, Peyton, CJ, S. Smith, A Gates, and the Chicago and Ravens D. Set me up commish!

Surely, as a staff member here, you were using Draft Dominator during your draft and can use the league file to tell the commish who picked who??
