Lee Evans - Buy low or bust? (1 Viewer)

Do you trade for him now?

  • Yes, he will be a top 10 receiver going forward and you should try hard to get him

I somewhat expected his slow start given that he was vs. Bailey in week 1 and Pittsburgh in week 2. But 4 catches for 22 total yards over two weeks is well below what an elite player should EVER do. So the question is what do you expect from him this season going forward? And how much would you be willing to trade to get him?

Evan's started the season with two tough games. He seems like a great buy low WR if there ever was one.

I hope JP's finally shown the door. He's the worst starting QB in the league. The sooner that franchise moves away from him, the sooner they'll be away from mediocrity (right now, mediocre is being kind).

:bag:

He had atleast 1 dropped TD today. He will be fine.

which "drop" are you referring to?

one was off. pass interference on evans, the other was d. pass interference.

the second he should have caught (no interference, of course)

Well,

I've stuck with him for the toughest 2 games for awhile so I'm certainly not going to get rid of him now.

In the next 2 to 3 games, he should have some decent games. I will reevaluate after those games. I'm lucky to be winning because of other players going off and opposing owners not.

I saw the game too. His accuracy is/was horrible. His decision making is horrible. Isn't a leader. Plays like a 4th year rookie 50% of the time. He will be fine if you want an annual sub .500 team for the forseeable future. I don't see that however as Edwards will be starting for the franchise by the end of November.

I always laugh at these buy low threads..whoever drafted Evans will not sell low.
Agree. Unless I get a hell of an offer, he's sitting on my bench until BUF gets their crap together & Evans shows me something... Know the match-up's have been tough and that there are other issues involved emotionally, but this guy needs to step up -- period. We all know he has the potential; I just hope it shows up sooner rather than later...
