I'm not disputing the fact that White was suspended due to conduct at the practice. I've said this numerous times now. Do you have a reading comprehension problem? I'm debating the merits of some conclusions drawn from this incident. Again, go back and re-read the posts. You've lost track of the point.

What I get from reading your posts is that you don't believe that White spit on a teammate and that you don't get why people are down on White due to character issues. White had character questions coming from college and some pre-draft red flags about his work ethic and now he has been suspended for his very 1st pro game. Fisher also has come to the conclusion that White better start acting like the professional that he is getting paid to be or else White is not playing. You act like White's critics are way off base.

What were they and what is your evidence to support that claim? And before you cite the usual arguments allow me to suggest you read my reply to these questions here (post #72):Character & Work Ethic BS

I am a White owner. However I've been defending bad conclusions before selecting him in our draft. I am not a Titans homer or an SC homer. And if you are using the term 'homer' as 'one who debates with facts' then I'll take that as a compliment. WHITE APOLOGY: LenDale White offered his first interview since being suspended Saturday after a spitting incident with teammate Donnie Nickey in Thursday’s practice.

White, who is from Denver, returned to practice Monday and will make his professional debut Saturday night when the Titans travel to face the Broncos.

White made a statement about his suspension after Saturday’s loss to New Orleans, but went a step further in apologizing for the incident Monday.

“What I did was wrong,” White said. “He’s my teammate, and I love him to death. I’ve apologized. Everything is fine and I’m ready to move forward.”

The Nashville Tennessean reports the Titans have confirmed that they did suspend second-round draft pick RB LenDale White for Saturday night's game against the Saints for spitting on teammate S Donnie Nickey during Thursday's practice. After the game, White made a statement about understanding HC Jeff Fisher's decision to suspend him. But White failed to apologize to Nickey, and didn’t show a whole lot of remorse. White, who initially denied he even spit on Nickey, was likely fined as well.

Says what exactly?

That White is a punk and is one of those athletes that just does not get it.

Have you ever heard of him doing something like this in the past? Are you really ready to start believing everything you read in the news word for word? Don't you think it's possible there are aspects of this story that we will not know about simply because there wasn't a reporter next to White or any other team member 100% of the time?

The team suspended him don't you think he must have done something wrong?

Sure. Fighting with teammates is certainly wrong. My point is that's the only thing we saw on the video clip being shown by the media. We didn't see the alleged spitting, it's intent, it's circumstances, what led up to it and so on. This is meant to challenge those who would take this story and again blow everything out of proportion on their way to crowning him the worst player in the history of the NFL. That kind of crap.BTW Two Deep: I keep meaning to mention this but I really like your avatar! One of my favorite all time movies! Nice!

Jim Wyatt and Paul Kuharsky, of the Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans RB LenDale White expressed regret Monday, Aug. 14, for spitting on teammate FS Donnie Nickey during a training camp skirmish. "As far as spitting, that was the 100 percent wrong thing to do," White said. "But as far as going after him and pushing him, I felt that is what I needed to do. My emotions just got the best of me. There was a lot of things that worked into the situation. But I know that what I did was the wrong thing."

So much for jumping to conclusions.
