Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans RB LenDale White (foot) missed the team's practice Wednesday, Sept. 19. He will be questionable for the team's Week 3 game.

Did anyone else hear about this

this is the first I'm hearing about this, but, as a Chris Brown owner, I'll take it!

Considering the # of NFL carries this guy has he seems to be more banged up than anyone outside Chris Perry.

No.I have found zero reports at tennessean.com by Jim Wyatt regarding LenDale White...it may have appeared in print. There is nothing about this on the FBG news blogger either.

I saw on the MFL player news but I think its a non issue.

So if I'm following the opinions in this thread: Everyone is caught off guard by the report, but many are confident White will play this weekend? That doesn't exactly add up.

I think this will be a non story come sunday. I think Lendale will be fine.
Why's that?
Because every hang nail a player has is reported on the injury list and they all seem to be questionable. Westbrook is listed as questionable and I bet he plays too. I think Brady was listed as questionable last week, he did fine.
Brady was listed as probable last week. He's been listed as probable on the last 1,439 Patriot injury reports. It's a game that Belichick plays.Questionable players, according to the last stats I looked at, play about 48-49% of the time. That was last year, so that could've changed--but I don't suspect all that much.

Except that Tenn. NEVER lists players as probable. All teams are required to place any player that misses practice on the injury report, but some teams, like the Titans, play games with the inj report by listing all players as questionable or worse.

Problem is...every hang nail White has gotten over the past year, he's missed time.

:lmao: IIRC, the NFL put an emphasis on injury designations this offseason to avoid teams such as the Titans and Patriots from listing everyone on their roster as questionable, or similar.

Bolded statements above are imortant. IIRC, any player who misses any part of practice on Wed. MUST be listed as questionable by league rule (which was changed this year). While this makes owners uneasy (especially in CBS where 3/4 of your starting lineups have red crosses next to them every Thursday), it's important to see what the team/player is saying. White's back shouldn't be an issue this week. The fact that Westy, on the other hand, had an MRI would be a little more cause for concern. ALWAYS check the report on Friday - that's the "real" report.
