Lendale White (1 Viewer)

Lendale is a hard guy to judge. I'm not a huge Chris Henry believer so I think Lendale will perform more of the same. 1200 yards and 7-9 tds is what he will probably produce. Good for a #2 RB, I'm just lucky enough to have him as my #3 RB after Portis and MJD. Rookie pickwise I'd say he is worth 1.05 to 1.07 depending on the owner.

TN will be reluctant to draft another RB on day one since they have used 2nd rounders the last two years on the position

barring a Kevin Jones, Sean Alexander, etc. curveball new entry into the team, I am seeing more of the same for LenDale with Henry getting Chrissy Brown's share

Lendale is a very hard player to judge. I was a big fan of him at USC, and thought he had the skill set to be an elite NFL power back. Since he was drafted, however, I have watched him quite a bit and haven't been impressed. He doesn't seem to have the quick feet needed to be successful at his size. That being said, I also think the lack of a consistent line, WR core, and consistent passing game has really impacted his effectiveness. He isn't the type of player that can create on his own, but I think with an improved line/passing game he could raise his YPC above 4 and score over 10 TDs. He won't ever be more than a #2 RB even if he reaches this form in PPR, because he rarely catches the ball (despite his above average blocking).

Considering what he is going for, I actually think he is a pretty solid buy-low candidate. If you can get him cheaply, it might be a solid play. He could turn into the starter in Tennessee long term, because they like a back with his bruising style and he has shown that he can take 300 carries. I don't think Henry will ever be more than a COP player, but I would wait until after the draft to make a decision about Lendale. If the Titans decide not to draft anyone, his actual value will go up, but I have a feeling his perceived value will remain the same due to the Chris Henry hype and the fat jokes. That combination equals a solid player to pick up as a 3rd back.

i traded him for brady quinn. needed the young qb in my dynasty more the lendale.

I see LenDale as a poor man's Rudi Johnson. Will probably be 100-200 less yds and 3-4 TDs less per year, but still good enough for an average but consistent #2.

I wasn't on him last year in the draft and didn't think he'd amount to anything. During the 2nd half of the season, I kept an eye on him and was mildly surprised.

He is one player that is growing on me for good or bad. I hope it's good because by looking at his ADP so far in early drafts, he could be a player with tremendous value. There really isn't anyone on the team right now that will challenge him.

So, right now I'm a supporter for White. I wasn't heading into last year so I'm a bit of a skeptic but not one who judges and then can't change their mind because that would mean that you may have been wrong initially.

Mildly optimistic here.

Henry will take some plays from him, but with the way that offense works, White will continue to get the majority of the carries for now. 60/40 seems about right, with Tennessee RBs good for about 1700/14 rushing, White should get over 1,000/7 again this year. His value depends on your league, but a late 1st seems like a solid buy.

Thanks for all the replies. To me it seems like he is a bit of a risk at this point because Teen could draft or more likely bring in a vet to take time from him. If them threats pass without anything happening then it seems he should produce mid #2 rb numbers at worst this year. I think there is a chance he could get himself in better shape this year and the near future and maybe become more then he is now. He is a interesting player to watch/gamble on.

I have good RB depth on my Dynasty team with LW, Westy, R Brown, LJ, MJD and A Bradshaw. I Cannot keep all these backs and will have to trade one of them along with a WR before our rookie/FA draft in August. I am hoping LW shows up healthier and with a better attitude this summer to give him reasonable value. I heard he did show up for off season workouts which is a plus but he has given me plenty of reason to be skeptical. If the Titans do draft an RB in the first three rounds of the draft it will hurt his value, unless it finally lights a fire under his ####, and could show that the team is not overly optimistic. He is certainly running out of time.

I'm a fan this year. He's not going to set any records but he should be a steady contributer to your fantasy team, and I think he's under a lot of peoples radar (at this point). He seems like a good guy to target as your #2 RB in rd 3 if you took a WR or a QB in the first 2. He could creep up on 1400 combined yards (1225 / 175) and see 8 TDs.

This is clearly a ploy to motivate Tatum Bell Lendale White.

I think a lot of people have TEN drafting a RB, because TEN has two running backs that people don't like. But TEN drafted Henry last year, I am guessing they aren't ready to throw in the towel on him quite yet. I think LenDale is safer than people think.

:lmao:

I've traded him in two PPR dynasties. I got 1.06 straight up for him in one league. In the other league I moved him and rookie 2.11 for Santana Moss and rookie 3.10.

White has some upside if he can get in shape and keep his job. My concern is that they might draft someone to steal touches. He didn't look that good last year and if he doesn't improve his YPC then I doubt he'll remain the full-time starter for long.
