Just one final reminder to anyone who wants to take part in this year's College Bowl Games Contest, that you have about 4 hours to get your picks in before the games officially begin!

Hello All,

My favorite time of year is here! College Bowl Games with the first ever field of 12 College Playoffs are about to commence, Playoff Fantasy Football, NFL Playoffs are right around the corner, and the Holidays are upon us!

I'm running the this College Bowl Games Contest again this year (through Poolhost as usual), note that there are 2 deadlines, one on this Saturday, December 14th for the Regular Bowl Games and one on the 20th when the games for Playoff Bracket begin.

The scoring rules have changed because of the Playoff Bracket. All regular Bowl game wins are 2 points, 1 point for ties (as usual). The points for wins in the Playoffs are tiered for each round. Round 1 - 1 point, Round 2 - 2 points, Round 3 - 3 points, and The Championship Game is 4 points and includes the tie breaker (if needed) of total points for the game.

Entry Fee for the contest is $10 per completion of the entire pool (regular Bowl games and Playoff selections). You can send fees to either my Venmo or Paypal. Details would be included in the invite. Venmo is preferred, but if you send it through Paypal, just include your entry name and don't mention that it's for a contest or pool. They like to lock accounts if used for that purpose. Also, when using both services, send your fee to family/friend as a gift to avoid fees being removed from the total.

As with every year, the number of payouts will be determined by the number of participants. Most years, however, there are at least a top 3-5 that receive winnings.

If you know of anyone else who would like to be in the contest, please message me here with their name and an email and I'll add them.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
