And I love how this choice is making the white man clutch his pearls in angst.

I mean, I just don't like alot of rap/hip hop. At the same time, if the entertainment was country or rock n roll the otherside that doesn't like country/rock n roll wouldn't be jazzed about it either. We all have different tastes and there's not anything wrong with that.

Most of the pearl clutching isn’t about the genre. It’s a factor, but not the main one causing the vapors.

Once again. I honestly never heard of the guy until this was announced. I actually listened to a few of his songs recently. The few i heard actually sounded kinda catchy if I still drank and danced. Ha ha. Would I play a Bad Bunny playlist while I mow my yard? Probably never. What i found kinda odd about the selection is he has never even toured or performed on American soil. Is that accurate? This is our countries biggest sporting event. In the end, I guess I don't really care to much, just felt odd. Maybe I'm the problem and i guess i should buy a Hello Kitty, er, Bad Bunny T-shirt. Ha ha

Regardless of how we define dirt, Bad Bunny is a US citizen and has done plenty of shows in America, which was the point.

It has been years since a halftime show featured an act I would have chosen, but then I haven't been the target demographic in a long time.
I'm ok with that.

An fyi. My 19-year old Hispanic nieces who voted for Trump, are Bad Bunny fans. They went to his 2024 concert in Miami, big $$$ too. The controversy will increase viewership, good choice.

My alternative is Ariana Grande, with either Myley Cyrus or the Weekend (he play in 2022) assisting.
