I took a flyer on him very late in my draft. Is there any chance he can vulture some goal line carries and short yardage stuff? Is he just a waste of a roster spot for now?
I couldn't really find anything on him here in the forums
I would imagine the most positive thing that a small majority would be inclined to say, would be GL back. However it would be nice if someone who has researched the player could shed some light on the possibilities. It really wouldnt shock me to see Lex on the field for the first snap vs. Patriots..
Brian Daboll could consider a repeat of last Season's game (41-14), meaning that he wants his best blocking/pass catching back in the backfield. It may not happen but it will be good ammo to discuss results w Coach Tony Sparano following the game.
I think he is as good of a late round flyer as anyone else. There is not a tremendous amount of talent or stability in front of him, and when he did play 2 years ago he looked decent. Miami's backfield does not seem to be completely decided yet. Maybe Lex works his way into a bigger role as those in front of him prove that they are not capable of handling it.
