thoughts on him going forward for the year and beyond.

looks to me to be Benson lite, 18-22 carries a game with no added dimension to the passing game.

what is he worth in a PPR keeper/dynasty league?

thougths?

thanks

Well I got Blount on all my teams. Unfortunately I don't play in a dynasty, I play in a keeper where we keep 6 players at no cost. I can't see myself keeping him ahead of:Calvin, Fitz, Crabtree, Deangelo, Best, Forte, Vick and maybe even Orton ---all these players are on this team, it is PPR.Basically I would put his value right below Forte in a ppr keeper. If it was a non-ppr, I may stick him in there instead of Forte. The truth about Blount is something I've been saying for 5 weeks now, he is very talented and his "character issues" are completely and utterly overblown and taken out of context mostly by ignorant fantasy players regurgitating the media line. He would have been a 3rd round pick in the draft if the University of Oregon wouldn't have made the absolute worst over-reactive decision I've seen in a long while and made him sit for the entirety of his last year in college. Just look at what happened to Mike Williams when he didn't play for an entire year and came to the NFL ---despite having incredible and unmatched talent, BMW busted out of the league shortly. It is a testiment to Blount and his work ethic to stick to it, despite not being drafted to work his way onto a team and take the starting role from an entrenched veteran. Now that Blount has a starting role, I cannot see him giving it up. I also have Torain, and Hillis along with Blount on another team, and I would keep Blount before the other 2. Blount is big and powerful like the other 2 but he has very good athletic ability and he is a born to be RB. He has the wiggle, vision and all it takes to be a natural at the RB position, unlike Torain and Hillis. Blount is a far more natural RB and because of that he will be more successful. He needs to start running more like he did in college however, and not attempt to run everyone over. He will last much longer if he avoids big hits more. All in all, I am VERY high on this rookie. He is perfect for the NFL. He will have a job for the foreseable future. Usually when a RB like this breaks out, it is for good.

What range do you see him in going forward in dynasty? Top 10? 15? 20? Who do you put ahead of, around, and behind him? I'm busy now, but I'll work on my list and post this weekend.
