Lions getting 6.5 from sportsbook (1 Viewer)

:lmao: Do I dare give them the benefit of the doubt? Westbrook banged up (per usual), the receivers are MIA and McNafro is causing a stir.

Can the mighty Leos keep it under 6.5 or even win?

I would take the Lions for sure. i think the game is going to calm down to a FG.
It almost seems a like a sucker bet in a way. Lions gaining confidence, Eagles being backed into a wall....yada yada. However, KJ may play in his hometown (limited role) and that can only help.

Lolli-pop . Lions are walking inot a hornets nest, no way they win let alone cover
I have my suspicions about that. However, if McNabb IS on a free fall out of Philly (insert Kolb) then what better excuse to axe him then after the Lions to a tap dance on them at home.

You'd be crazy to take the Lions here.

They're a soft 2-0, beating two teams that would be hard-pressed to win 8 games combined this season.

I think this is a game you don't go anywhere near. But if you have to bet, you go Eagles all the way, on history alone.

Reid and McNabb are a winning combo...it'd be tough for me to imagine them going down this way this season, and my guess is that the sportsbooks will see it the same way and set a tantalizing line to push people towards Detroit a little bit.

If ever there was a statement game for Philadelphia, it'd be this one.

And don't believe the McNabb questions in regards to his status...I live in the area...typical Philadelphia controversy where they try to make so much more out of nothing. Happens every season (see A.J. Feeley...Jeff Garcia...)

Eagles suck period. I wached both their games and man they are more inconsistant then my Raiders.. McNabb's accuracy issues are once again a problem. If Westbrook sits that team has NO OFFENSE.. I would take the Lions to win.. They have looked a lot better.. People are not convinced but I think the Lions have a shot at a Wild Card..

I think the Lion's defense will expose them eventually this year. They have played some bad offenses but I'm not sure that Philly qualifies as a good offense right now and even if they do find themselves in week 3, the Lions still have matchup problems all over the field for opposing defenses. The only thing stopping them right now is themselves. Kitna getting hurt for half the game, turnovers etc....

Eagles win and cover the 6 (the game is trending that way and already being offered at 6 in several places).

FWIW I'm not an Eagles fan and bet close to a dime on the Skins at +7 on Monday.

Who's gonna cover Roy and Calvin???

24 Brown, Sheldon CB 5-10 200 South Carolina 6

35 Graham, Nick CB 5-10 191 Tulsa R

22 Hanson, Joselio CB 5-9 185 Texas Tech 3

21 James, William CB 6-0 200 Western Illinois 7

26 Sheppard, Lito CB 5-10 194 Florida 6

7 Considine, Sean S 6-0 212 Iowa 3

27 Mikell, Quintin S 5-10 206 Boise State 5

30 Reed, J.R. S 5-11 202 South Florida 4

Good Luck.

If you guys ever ventured out o the Shark Pool you'd realize there is a great NFL wagering thread over the FFA that is frequented by a lot of people who know much more about sports betting than most anyone who's responded in this thread thus far
