When and if the Lions win this game we will hear nothing but how the Packers blew it.

The one sided coverage of this game is enough to make you sick. This is a different Packers team than earlier in the season....whatever. This is a different Lions team than we have ever seen but no one seems to be able to see that through the years of losing. The Lambeau unbeaten streak will end at some point, and people are going to have to find another reason the Lions won't win there, because that excuse is pretty lazy and pathetic.

Rodgers has looked like garbage the last few games, and when we stuff Fat Eddy it's going to be on. Rodgers interception steak ends, Lacy limps off, and they just can't find a way to cover Calvin.

Remember the game earlier this year where Rodgers looked like he had no where to go. I couldn't believe he didn't just take off and run with the ball....make something happen.......instead of taking those sacks. Then I realized this is how you contain him...and believe me the Lions didn't forget. It doesn't make a pinch of #### difference whether the game is inside or outside when it comes to containing Rodgers.

I'm so glad this is the way the season turned out...because now that the fantasy season is over and Rodgers brought me home the money, I can go back to hating the Packers with a passion. Well, and of course their arrogant, beer swilling, cheesy brat eating fans.

I find it funny the things being said here....I live smack dab in the middle of Packerland and let me tell you the Packer fans are scared ####less about this game.
I don't know where you live but I don't know one person who thinks the Lions will win. Do they think they are good enough to compete? Yes, but I think you are mistaking respect for being afraid. I know its hard to think of the Lions as deserving respect though. ;)

Also if the Packers lose it is there fault because they shouldn't lose this game at home to the Lions.

Finally if you don't want one sided talk then have the Lions actually do something of worth in the last 20 years to get some more respect. Plus I think you forget that the Packers are at HOME in this game or did I forget that the Lions beat the Packers at home recently?

So talk all big if you want but I can understand why you might consider the poor poor packer fans arrogant thinking their team that 99% of the NFL community thinks is the superior team AT HOME is going to win.
Of course none of you cheeser's are going to admit it, but I have a lot of friends that are Packer fans, and not just bandwagon homers. They know the REALITY is the Packers could lose this game, and it's not a given just because it is in GB, and the Lions haven't won there in years past.

99%, really? I think you might be exaggerating a bit there. Oh yeah that's right you cheeser's think the NFL community is Packerland.

So not 99% (94% Packers) from the numbers I found and feel free to add but this seems to be the major websites/tv stations. Also did I not say people thought the Packers could lose but your original comment was "Packer fans are scared ####less about this game." which is not the case and the reason people don't feel that is a vast majority (feel better?) of NFL experts are picking the Packers.
Good thing they play the game.

A Lions win could be pretty seismic. Its not often that one team dominates the other for years and years and then the rivalry flips but I think this could be one of them and its because of the Lions defense. A Detroit victory in a few hours will shake a lot of people's faith in what they know.

I expect the packers to either get some huge plays and blow out the Lions or it's going to be close. I don't see the lions blowing out the packers.

Listened to sports radio my whole trip up here to Wisconsin and none of the fans seemed scared about this game.

You must be running around some strange fans.

But you do play the "nobody is giving us a chance" chip on your shoulder very well.

Seems different from you claiming everyone is scared ####less.

Thank you kindly. I live in Michigan.....Packer fans here aren't living in the echo chamber south of us...and are usually a little more realistic.

Who is really going to call a radio station and say they scared their team is going to lose, especially Packer fans? Deep deep down inside each and every one of them is worried about losing to a slow, white, geeky chump :whitemencantjump: aka Detroit Lions. :P

Let me guess you were listening to WNFL....?

A victory for either team probably isn't that big of a deal in the scheme of things. The second game in the playoffs for the winner and the loser will almost certainly be Seattle at Seattle. It will make a much bigger difference if Seattle loses this week and gives up the #1 spot. But I kind of doubt that happens.

In order I found searching:

So not 99% (94% Packers) from the numbers I found and feel free to add but this seems to be the major websites/tv stations. Also did I not say people thought the Packers could lose but your original comment was "Packer fans are scared ####less about this game." which is not the case and the reason people don't feel that is a vast majority (feel better?) of NFL experts are picking the Packers.
Good thing they play the game.
Correct, again I am not saying the Packers can't lose but I don't think they will, also my bigger point was about thatguythere's comments.
which guy?

You tailgating yet...?
See all the NFL "experts" picking the Packers? Care to comment at all on it or do you only care to hate on Packers fans?

I think the lions win this. That Detroit defense is tough (and sometimes dirty), and they should make life difficult for Rodgers all day, similar to what we saw in Buffalo. Plus we don't know how healed his calf is. I don't think he's in line for a good performance at all, and it could get ugly. I expect an easy win for Detroit.

Wait, Michigan is smack dab in Packerland? If you mean the UP those people got a screw loose
The further north you go in Michigan the more Packer fans there are. Once you are in the UP it is almost all Packer fans. That is the Lions fault and where they are located. For one the Lions have sucked that much, second the Lions just don't do appearances up there, the Packers players do more in the community in the UP than the Lions do.

Oh well. I was wrong. It would have been fun to see a division rivalry turn like that. Doesn't happen often enough. It gets boring seeing one team dominate a division for so long.

No it doesn't. Not at all.
