McFadden and Streater looking good.

Last pass to Streater was very incomplete though. Not sure how the refs thought it was a completion.

Or it was a completion o.O I thought the rule was that they had to make a "football move" which I didn't see. Very inconsistent.

Mikel looks pedestrian so far.
It's not Mikel, it's the O-line thus far. No holes, no push. Mikel has actually shown some nice start/stop and juking to avoid all the defense in the backfield. That's encouraging from a surgically repaired achilles standpoint. Other observations are that the Lions just seem to be able to pass at will if they truly want to open it up.Edited to add that Stafford just got nicked up his hand but it looks like his non throwing hand.

What's the story with Burleson? Has Titus Young eclipsed him as WR2? Come to think of it, I have not seen Burleson's name come up in any mock drafts I've done. Late round pick who could serve as #3 or #4 WR?

I think you have Calvin and a bunch of players who will take turns playing the #2 option including Burleson,Young, Pettigrew and Scheffler. I just don't know that I'd trust them on a week to week basis.

correct, outside of Pettigrew and Megatron, I stay away from Stafford's targets in standard leagues.

Looked like he passed the goal line then fumbled. Stretched his arms out past the goal line and fumbled when his hands and the ball hit the ground.

This. Looked like a touchdown to me. He extended with the ball, broke the plane and the ball came out when it hit the ground.

Still not happy with how the Raiders have looked offensively. Their goal line package also sucks. Not happy that it had to go down to 4th down and barely make it still.

I agree but it's not like they're playing St. Louis here. The Lions are no slouches.

The way the Raiders have looked this preseason...it looks like we're going to have the 1st overall pick and have our third BCS Championship winning, Heisman winning, USC QB next year. Good thing I love the Trojans too.

These preseason games have made me more angry than last season's regular season games. They have actually gotten worse offensively according to these preseason games. Hope it doesn't continue into the regular season.I know the Lions have a great defensive line, but this ZBS doesn't look that great so far. Especially through the first three preseason games. Run DMC actually looked better in the power blocking scheme.

Not seeing too many good throws from Hill. He looks mighty rusty after taking basically last year off with Stafford's healthy season. I handcuffed him to Stafford in a dynasty league but I'm not liking what I'm seeing.

Can we cut Sea Bass yet? Carmona looks good enough and I'm tired of seeing the Raiders pay him so much when he's so inconsistent.

Kevin Smith update:

He just walked to the locker room and you couldn't even tell he was hurt. Didn't notice any limp at all. Far cry from how he limped off the field.

might have dodged a bullet there. Hopefully there will be an update soon.

Can Kevin Smith make it through an NFL GAME w/o getting hurt?? Jesus.

Keiland Williams may be the least impressive runner in the history of the league. Guy has zero quicks.

I think Mo Morris is going to be playing significant time for Detroit until he's 50. (Yes, I realize he's not currently on the team. But that'll quickly change if they're looking at starting Keiland at RB)

He'll probably re-injured it taking off his shoe.

Pryor looks disgustingly fast. Seems like if Tebow can get a hundred tries starting, maybe Pryor can get a chance in a year.

Pryor reminds me of Randall Cunningham in stature and running style but he pales in comparison to his throwing ability. Not a true NFL QB IMO but I do see him coming in as a backup and providing a spark if needed if Palmer has an off game.

Kevin Smith was damaged goods before he even started his NFL career. He is very talented but had 450 carries his final year of college. I'm not sure what the "370" rule is for college, but I'm pretty sure that 450 carries in the shorter college season did something to his health.
