LIONS! (1 Viewer)

As a Michigan resident, I have never had a single Lion on my fantasy team in six years of playing fantasy football. I refuse to buy the hype every year that certain players are going to break out (i.e. Charles Rogers a few years ago, Kevin Jones last year, Jon Kitna this year) and, given that other players in my league are Lions homers, no Lions players drop to a point where it becomes difficult to pass them up.

It is disappointing enough watching the team play on Sundays, let alone having anyone on the team ruin my fantasy team at the same time.

I didn't get the preseason Kitna hype. The guy is just not that good. He may not even be a better choice than Harrington.

I like RW and KJ, but I don't see great numbers for either unless the O-line and QB play improves dramatically from last season.

Thankfully the D looks very very solid. We actually have some guys that can HIT now.

I thought KJ looked good and was glad to see him involved in the passing game. I think he played better than his stats showed.

Kitna I'm still not sure of, I didn't think he looked comfortable and missed a few open receivers, I didn't think he looked good in pre-season either.

They still played good enough to win. Thanks to the D.

I think most everyone thought it would be a Seattle blow out.

The Oline needs to improve immensely for them to have any success on offense.

:goodposting: If the OLine was any good at all we would all be happy to have Lions on our squad right now. I thought Kitna and KJ did the best with what they had... which wasn't much.

Would you guys start any of them against the Packers?
Seattle is one of the better D's and this week against Chicago will be another good test but hey, Roy guaranteed a win so that will scare the chicago D some.I will be starting Roy against GB and maybe KJ (but I also have Jamal Lewis to start). If NO has success against them this week, and Detroit struggles then I would have to say I would be afraid to start any Det players the rest of the season.Down games against Seattle and Chicago won't concern me as much as a down game @ home vs Green Bay.
