there needs to be a thread for cool animal info like this. there is so much to unpack with the concept of a group of bees killing a hornet through body heat.in the reddit thread on this video, I learned it was heat that killed this hornet. Crazy.
Apparently bees can withstand temperatures a degree or two hotter than hornets so the bees all pile on and start to vibrate or whatever bees do to work up a bee sweat and kill the hornet via hyperthermia
Yes... if only there was a long-running series of trivia threads, including animal facts, that might include this in a future posting...there needs to be a thread for cool animal info like this. there is so much to unpack with the concept of a group of bees killing a hornet through body heat.
If only my brain could store this info away just in case such a thread ever existed. Sadly, I'll have forgotten it by the time I hit "submit reply"Yes... if only there was a long-running series of trivia threads, including animal facts, that might include this in a future posting...

Volume up is a must on this one.

Definitely real audioditto, but I am thinking the audio isn't real. Still funny, I guess
meh...It is a pretty quiet setting. That was an unexpected very loud thunderous, metallic bang. I would think some of the people around there would be startled by it, but the reactions are very casual.Definitely real audio
What exactly was their plan there?

Somehow I missed that episode of the Brady Bunch.
It's not often you see a play area designed to brutally beat children
