My problem with everything Phil post Jerry is that it’s always waaaay too much Phil.  Too loud in the mix, too much singing.

The singing I'll give ya..... The Mix, I'm collecting loud bass mix's  so if ya got some in mind I'm all ears !!!

There is a Best DP thread on the redit I have been watching.  #29 is my favorite, followed by #8 and probably the Boston Music Hall one #14?

Anyway, I saw #36 (9/21/72 Philly Spectrum) getting a bit of hype over there so I gave it another check tonight. It's pretty good.  The boards sound has no life imo, but the set list is phenomenal.  Jerry is really on point vocally.  He sounded great quite often vocally in 72 as a matter of fact.

I give DP #36 a 4.5 out of 5.  If not for the mix, it's probably a top twenty show.  I am gonna try and find a nice Audto see how it compares.  I should mention the show has a really cool Dark Star in case that is your thing.  I recommend.

Anyone get a presale code for tickets this morning?  I am curious what the prices are for different locations.
Based on fall tour experience, waiting until after presale might be better.

I can’t make the Cincinnati show, so considering Blossom and/or Alpine valley.

I bought tickets for the show in Cuyahoga Falls.  The venue is an outdoor amphitheater.  I got lawn seats which would be the cheapest for $49.50 plus ticketmaster charges which were around $15 per.

Looks like we have Dead and Company in Mexico tonight, and JRAD at 9:00.  Anyone watching?  Nugs has the shows.  PM me if interested.

Missed the Cincinnati D&C show because we were on vacation, so heading up to Akron (?Cleveland? not really sure) tomorrow.  I can hardly contain my excitement.  Taking my wife to her first show.  Explained Shakedown to her with people selling stuff they made so at least she's excited about that.  Going to a show is like a religious experience to me.  For almost 30 years this music has been an integral part of my life.  I don't think a lot of other people feel the same way about their favorite bands. Maybe I'm wrong.

   I think for most "die hard" fans of bans this is true.....for general public, you're probably right.

What an awesome time.  Lot scene was the best I've seen since early 90's.  Wife had a blast.
Great show.  I didn't spend much time in the lot as we got there a little later, but I thought it was a solid show (aside from a few audio glitches).  I have never been very familiar with John Mayer's solo work, but the boy can play.

We got there around 3:00 thanks to your advice.  Easy getting in but there were already thousands of people there.  Got a perfect parking spot right by Shakedown, and we hung out after the show until the cops kicked us out.

Really liking Mayers Althea.  I wish I would have gone to see them in Orlando, but it was the middle of the week.

Awesome.  Like the last time, the dates just don't work well for me.  It would be a hell of an experience though.
I hesitated too long and now all the reasonably priced packages are sold out.  Oh well, I told my wife we were seeing 3-4 shows next year to make up for it.

Summer tour announced.  Will be hitting up Noblesville and thinking about Wrigley.
Nice! Wrigley again? I really enjoyed the Wrigley shows from 2017. Just a 15 minute train ride from my house! We’ll be raging at my crib. Any FBGers are welcome to join!

Two nights over a weekend.

How is the sound in Wrigley for a concert.  I have never seen a large stadium concert before.

Sound is excellent! I’ve seen both Phish and Dead and Co there. Only bad seats for sound is 200 level under the overhang, the sound gets muffled. As long as you’re not under an overhang you’re good!

Last year i had about 6 dudes in town from my 25 year long FF league. Same guys will be there next year. Let’s party at my place and talk FF after we eat some fungus!

Disco Biscuits show in Colorado the next three nights.  Always free stream on you tube.  Currently my favorite show.

Hitting Deer Creek Wednesday and both Wrigley shows next weekend. Three shows in a row.  This is the closest I’ve ever had of “going on tour”. I can’t wait.

We talked up Wrigley but couldn’t make it happen. I want to go to one of these shows to mark off the bucket list, what are the odds they will tour next year too?

These guys are getting old, but they seem relatively healthy.  It's still a cash machine, and Bobby just can't stop playing.  However, there are always "this is the last one" rumors with every tour.

I think I’m hitting the exact same shows. Definitely the Chicago shows. Still debating Deer Creek.
