I am suffering thru another year with a nonproductive TE -- left with the options of Baker and Pope and other no names of the like I now have the option of picking up LJ Smith can anyone give me any idea of what i might expect from him going forward (assuming his groin is healed) who might you compare him to in productivity?

I'd look elsewhere. He can't stay healthy and he's a free agent at the end of the year. The Eagles won't be resigning him so if they fall out of the hunt there won't be any reason for him to even see the field.

Thanks I didnt even think of that so it looks like more 3wr set with Avant/Brown/Curtis and less TE regardless of who it is
