Dont know if youve seen their games lately, but Dee Brown has taken over the 3rd down role. With LJ now having 419 touches this season, and probably close to 700 since becoming a starter in week 9 last year, they are likely resting him some by removing him from the passing game. On the off chance they make the playoffs, they'll need him. He looked extremely sluggish tonight.

Boy, I have a tough time blaming Larry Johnson tonight. The balls thrown to him were all uncatchable and one he was wide open with at least 10 yards of space in front of him; Green was awful. I think they are limiting him some, but he was in on a few 3rd and over 5's.
Trent Green is absolutely horrible. He needs to hang 'em up.
When KC's quarterback could actually hit the backside of a barn, LJ was dynamite in PPR leagues. He's not really a fluid receiver because of his size but he's dangerous after the catch. I'm not sure if it's yards after catch, but there's a stat like that where LJ STILL leads the league... despite the recent weeks of being throw ducks to his feet.
Honestly, Trent Green must think LJ is a midget. I never thought I'd see the day where I long for Damon Huard so badly.
its more than just green. he doesnt seem to check down to the rb's any more. last year lj was getting plenty of catches last year with green (27/343/1 from week 9 on...)
