LJ's Status (1 Viewer)

I know he has been ruled out this week. Any word on what his status is rest of the season?

Someone dropped him in my league and I was wondering if it is worth picking him up for week 15 or 16.

Thoughts?

I don't think he'll play this year but you never know. I would say he's worth a roster spot unless you don't have room..Do you have Kolby Smith? if so, then I would definitely grab LJ

Adam Teicher, of The Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs RB Larry Johnson (foot) practiced in individual drills Wednesday, Dec. 5, but is not expected to play Week 14.
If he was shutting it down for the season, you'd wonder why he'd bother with this...

Unless it's a free waiver, I wouldn't bother. I doubt he's gonna play again this year, and even if he does, do you really have the sak to start him week 15/16?

He was ruled out. Lynch practiced last friday limited even though he was ruled out two days prior.

http://www.kansascity.com/sports/chiefs/story/391663.htmlCould it be?

Larry Johnson also practiced, though only in individual drills for the first time since injuring his foot in last month’s game against Green Bay. He won’t play against the Broncos, but the Chiefs are preparing for his return sometime this season.

Kolby Smith will again be the Chiefs’ featured running back in Denver, but Johnson’s return to practice, even though he was limited to individual work, is the first indication that he will be back in 2007.

“I know he wants to play, and he’s (getting) ready to play,” Smith said. “It was great to have him back. He’s the leader of our group.”

Hell ya I have the sak to start him!! To me, that's what fantasy playoffs are all about. No guts, no glory. You can't play it safe like the regular season. It's the ultimate risk/reward play, IMOBTW - Weeks 15 & 16 are against Tenn & Detroit (the latter being a must start if he plays)

My opinion all along is that I don't think he plays, but with him not being placed on IR, it means there is a chance, even if it's a slim chance.

As an owner in a 2-player keeper league, I hope he doesn't play. With AP, MB III, and LJ, I'm leaning towards AP and MB though I really think LJ bounces back next year *assuming* 100% recovery in the next 2-3 months and some better offensive balance and oline play.
