Loaning a chick money 9/9/16 - Bye (1 Viewer)

Last night

It’s about 7:00am this morning. I wake up at Angie’s house to the smell of bacon...hmmm bacon. I get up and go to the kitchen and see Angie cooking along with a full pot of coffee, “Good Morning!”. She seemed to have gone out of her way to make a nice breakfast for me. We ate breakfast, chatted for a bit when she tells me she has good news.

Angie: “I didn’t want to say it last night until it cleared my bank today but I should get my Tax Refund soon and I got

the deposit back from my old place. Here’s a check for $2,000”

Me: “Are you sure you're ok giving me this now? I don't want to put you in a bind”

Angie: “Yes!” (kisses me)

We enjoy breakfast and chat about the crazy past few months we’ve had. Angie seems like a really good person; I kind of feel like I’ve been screwing her over. I leave to head back to my office.

On my way to the office, I pass a cop sitting in the median that flips his lights on as I’m driving by. I slow down further up the road and pull over ahead – I figured it was me as I was speeding a bit while negotiating my way through traffic. I start to reach into my glove compartment for my registration and insurance information when the cop flies by me.

I glance into the glove and notice something is missing, my gun.

I've been freaking out today trying to figure out where it is. My wife hasn't responded to my questions about it via text yet.

That's a great place for your gun. I'm sure cops really love the suspense of wondering if you're reaching for your registration or your gat.

Yeah's that's definitely odd. Your gun seems to always be in box.

Wait, what? You've skipped a whole lot of the story, GB. I thought you were going to try staying away from Angie and the first sentence in your update is that you wake up at her place?

It's called a fade-in. Good directors use it to imply previous events and set the stage for future action.

I have not checked into this thread in a very long time, can we get some cliff notes here? Is their still a marriage? Are we banging the bacon babe? Better to bang the woman making the bacon than cooking it though, from what I've heard.

The OP has links to each update. Should be able to skim through in about 10mins.

Wife responded to my question about the gun:

Wife: "idk, also when are you getting the rest of your ####"

"Updates to exploit/avoid" would make things easier on him. His engine is running on 3 cylinders.

I'm not trying to judge anyone, and everyone is free to make their own life decisions that don't harm others, but color me shocked that this open relationship is having troubles.

I think it's OK. Please come back and update us about your prono type experience with her next monthAnd then the divorce proceedings the month after
I nailed it and I cant even enjoy it. I am sad that AZ Rons marriage has ended. Now can we get back to the redacted last night story :football:

With bolded color coding as well, I'm handicapped here.

It's been a month or so since I've been keeping the FFA up to date but yeah, wife and I are "taking a break".
Way to bury the lead.
No idea what this means.
Verbbury the lead

(idiomatic) (news writing style) To begin a story with details of secondary importance to the reader while postponing more essential points or facts.

You bring us pithy update about Angie making you breakfast, then causally drop a bomb on us. "BTW, I'm now separated from my wife."

WTF
