London Calling - New York Jets (+2.5) v Minnesota Vikings (40.5), 9.30am EST (1 Viewer)

So much controversy when they drafted Reichard. Way to early to draft a kicker yada yada yada. He has just been perfect so far.

If Rogers wasn't their QB would the Jets leave Hackett in London?

what would that do? this is Aaron’s offense, the QB is the de facto OC, they [run] zero fast motion pre-snap bc he wants to read the defense while his guys remain static. they went out & got his guys & are letting him run his circa 2011 offense.

ARod should be doing two pressers a week. Monday with his QB hat on to explain why he lost the game, Thursday with his play sheet in hand to explain how as OC he is going to fix it.

Rinse. Repeat.

@titusbramble - requesting thread title change to London (play) Calling

The Rodger’s offense looks remarkably similar (production-wise) to the the Zach Wilson offense. Stylistically different but results are the same.

I like Eisen and I think he'd be a fun "third man" in a three-man booth. He's just really bad at play-by-play and obviously he doesn't have much to add as a color commentator.

Edit: Or, he'd be a fun option for alternate commentary. Every broadcast should have 2-3 commentary options, like the Manningcast.

Vikings lack killer instinct. 4-0 but letting teams back in the game when they could throw the death punch.

You edited your post just as I hit reply so I had to read your edit here.

First and goal at the 1 and you don't even try to run with either back? You even empty out the backfield? Hackett just not too bright.

Allen literally got stuffed on back to back short yards to gain plays earlier in the game, maybe they just have decent run D that is being avoided

Horrible. Clock stopping passes when you need to run clock.

This is exactly how he called plays last year.

I get that you don’t have Aaron Jones out there, but you can’t just start chucking the ball in the rain against this defense when you have a lead

Can't help but feel like Rodgers pulls this out. Maybe its the Bears fan in me, but I feel like I've seen this movie dozens of times.

And don't it all end up in some revelation
With four guys on horses and violent red visions
Famine and death and pestilence and war?
I'm pretty sure I heard this one before

Rodgers not dumb enough to catch that. A lot of DBs on 4th down could take note. As could RBs/WRs getting swarmed behind the LoS or 1 yard downfield in a 2 min drill.
