It seems in the past there were 1-3 elite players you would like to have on your team: Terrell Davis, Marshall Faulk, LT, etc. and then you would get into a large second tier of talented but not truly elite (at least from a fantasy perspective) group of players. IMHO, there simply is no elite tier of players this season. All the top guys have limitations or questions surrounding them, RBBC has dominated the league, offensive strategies seem less likely to be based on strategies that will produce huge stats for one or two team players, etc. so it seems as if the first drop off in fantasy points will occurr much later in the draft than it has in past years. Based on my projections, the first significant drop-off happens at pick # 27 according to my early VBD sheet. Is anyone else finding the same thing? At what overall pick # do you see the first big drop in fantasy talent this year?
