-Probably a condo but maybe a house.
-very near a large body of water, for boat, jet ski etc
-with a beach town vibe, looks to do in summer, maybe a boardwalk etc
-more affordable is a plus

The condo market anywhere near a hurricane area looks bad for the future. Anything decent is 1k a month dues, and an inevitable assessment every 5. There may be some bargains out there if it crashes,but any older building is likely a money pit. I'd go townhouse if I were looking for something low maintenance. From my Zillow observations in FL it seems like monthly dues are 60-70% less.
