Los Angeles Rams Vs Dallas Cowboys, Divisional Playoff Game (1 Viewer)

I don't know why I'm still surprised coaches make the wrong call on kicking vs. going for 2.

Better to know if you need two scores or 1 - will help decide whether to kick deep or go onsides.

Onside kicks are worthless now you may as well kick it deep since you have almost no shot to get onside kicks with the new rule.

When you are down 22 you should be going for two on the first TD because if you miss you still have 2 more chances to get two pointers being down 16.  Coaches kick the XP when they score to cut the 22 point lead to 16 those are the ones making the mistake but when you are down 15 and score to cut it to 9 you go for 1 if there is only enough time for 1 possession left...now I would agree with you if there is time for 2+ possessions because you want to know if your making it or not.

What a run. I love how he twisted just enough to stay in bounds at the end. A lot of QBs would just run straight to the sideline there.

Good game. Dak played well. Defense was overwhelmed. That was concerning. Looked like ND against Alabama in the trenches.

Apparently the delay wasn't in effect on that Talib F bomb

Two thoughts:

1.  There's 2+ minutes on the clock.  You can score 2x in that time, but you're definitely going onsides at least 1x.

2.  Either way you need at least one 2 point conversion.  There's no downside of going for it on the first one, but there is an upside (see #1).

If you miss it entire team is deflated and feel the game is over so you have some massive downside

Defenses did not play like I expected in either game today. JFC, 275 yards rushing?

I also have no idea why Dallas waited so long to use Dak running the ball.

Yep. Odds of scoring 9 more points in 2 minutes: 0.00001%. may as well spend the time packing up the equipment because you have lost.
