Louis Farrakhan (1 Viewer)

End of power? Or End of Life?

He even said that black people if educated that they could "talk to them (whites) not with hate".

"Its not about hate".

"It aint about hating you, we don't have time for that".

Then in a biblicle slant he says "And unless you change, your end has come". As in no eternity?

I was fully expecting some very awful stuff. Ripe with hatred.

Something I wouldn't put past Farrakhan (or any religious zealot)... but that wasn't this video.

Farrakhan gets a bad rap. A lot of his teaching is pretty extreme, but also misunderstood, IMO. Whitey likes to get outraged...

It is simply not intellectually dishonest for a black man of our time to see whites as devils. Negroes still walk out the house knowing that someone may act upon them with malice or attempt to reduce them to bugs or feel completely comfortable tormenting their families, purely because of their pigmentation. Feel that and know - nothing else will do.

That said, whites are simply not devils. Any idiot knows that. Just as a molested girl isnt free until she's a woman who refuses to be colored by memory and fear that the next man may afflict her, a black person cant be truly unslaved until he ceases to allow persecution of him & his people, now & thru time, to affect feeling & conduct.

That's almost impossible. Part of the process of getting there, though, is to see the devil and know that he, in fact, is not one but, instead, a little, little thing that has diminishing power over him anymore. Just as all Americans look to imperfect men as inspirations on the path to becoming American, Farrakhan & his predecessors in Nation of Islam are symbols which embody the black man who can always, with cause, hate and one can measure one's own evolution by his reaction to him. He is nothing more and nothing less.

I like how you skipped the part before the "biblical slant."We know who we're dealing with. We know what we're dealing with. We know your origin in the world. And we know how long you were set to live. And unless you change, your end has come.

You can't interpret a statement unless you look at those statements around it. He mentions life and then he mentions the end. There's the answer to your question.

Farrakhan: African Americans deserve their own courts DETROIT -- In a fiery speech Sunday delivered to 18,000 at Joe Louis Arena, Minister Louis Farrakhan blasted the judicial systems in the U.S. as being biased against African Americans, calling upon the community to set up their own courts.

"We want equal justice under the law," Farrakhan said on the last day of the Nation of Islam's annual convention, held in Detroit this year. "Our people can't take much more. We have to have our own courts."

With Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., and Detroit City Council President Brenda Jones sitting behind him, Farrakhan spoke for nearly three hours, reiterating the Nation of Islam's view that the U.S. is a land headed for destruction because it has disobeyed the word of God.

Farrakhan suggested that African Americans rely on the Quran and Bible to help set up their own legal system that would be more fair to African Americans.

"Has America been just to us?" he asked the crowd.

"No," the crowd responded

"So ... if we retaliate, you can bring out your soldiers. We got some, too."

Farrakhan railed against Christian pastors who endorse gay marriage, which he said contradicts the teachings of Christianity and Islam.

"God has never sanctioned that kind of behavior," Farrakhan said.

Noting that the Nation of Islam started in Detroit in 1930, Farrakhan said: "I want Detroit to know we're back to stay. This is a great city."

During the past year, Farrakhan has talked about reinvesting in Detroit. Local Nation of Islam members say some are moving to Detroit to invest and help rebuild the city.

Farrakhan: Kilpatrick's sins would have been forgiven in white politiciansSpeaking in a Detroit church Friday night, Minister Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam said that he plans to visit former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick in prison Saturday as he tried to portray him as a victim of white racism.

“I’m going to visit him tomorrow in Milan, Michigan,” Farrakhan, 80, said to loud applause.

Addressing a packed audience inside Fellowship Chapel in Detroit, Farrakhan said that while Kilpatrick may have committed some mistakes, white politicians have committed similar acts and gotten away with it.

Update: Anti-Defamation League denounces Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic remarks.

“I know he didn’t do everything right,” Farrakhan said of Kilpatrick, who was convicted of several courrption charges. But, he added, “do you think white folks in office weren’t playing a little on the side?”

Farrakhan, who supported Kilpatrick in the past, started his remarks on Kilpatrick by saying: “Detroit, you had a lot of faith in Kwame Kilpatrick. You put him in office two times. What happened?”

In 2005, Kilpatrick sat on stage with Farrakhan as the leader of the Nation of Islam delivered a talk in the same church Farrakhan spoke in Friday night.

Friday night, Farrakhan remarked that Kilpatrick was the youngest mayor in Detroit’s history and was “very intelligent,” according to a live broadcast of the event on the Nation of Islam’s website.

Farrakhan said the scandal around Kilpatrick was based on his lying about sleeping with a woman who wasn’t his wife, a sin that Farrakhan said many commit.

“How many of you in this audience...got a little something on the side?”

Farrakhan said of Kilpatrick: “So the boy made some texts...Why wouldn’t he lie? Wouldn’t you?...That’s the natural reaction: to cover your backside.”

Farrakhan said white politicians often are corrupt, but “they hide their crap under the rug” and unite to protect each other.

“But anything (blacks) do, (whites) expose to destroy your love and confidence in one another.”

Farrakhan said of Kilpatrick’s prosecutions: “The enemy that charged him is a liar from the beginning.”

The church is led by the head of the Detroit branch of the NAACP, Rev. Wendell Anthony. Anthony was at Friday’s speech as were U.S. Rep. John Conyers, D-Detroit, and Detroit City Councilwoman JoAnn Watson. Conyers and Watson nodded in agreement during some of Farrakhan’s remarks.

During his speech, Farrakhan also made some anti-Semitic remarks, talking about what he called “Satanic Jews” and the “Synagogue of Satan” supposedly controlling major institutions. Several groups have noted that Farrakhan has a history of anti-Semitism and anti-white remarks.

He said that he loved President Barack Obama, but said “he surrounded himself with Satan...members of the Jewish community.” Farrakhan also said that Detroit’s Emergency Financial Manager, Kevyn Orr may be a good person, but could be a puppet of people with bad intentions.

In addition, Farrakhan attacked fast-food restaurants, white images of Jesus Christ, gay marriage, and black-on-black violence in cities like Detroit.

"Look at the violence in Detroit,” he said. “It's not white folks killing us. It's us killing each other."

As he did in talks earlier Friday before the Detroit City Council and on Thursday at another Detroit church, Farrakhan urged African-Americans to buy property in Detroit.

"Arabs got money, they're buying,” he said. “Our Mexican families buying. You, who are the majority population, you're not buying"

From the Jewish Anti-Defamation League:

Detroit Leaders Should Have Spurned, Not Embraced, Minister Louis FarrakhanDetroit, MI, May 21, 2013 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today expressed deep disappointment with the members of Detroit City Council and local clergy who met with and embraced the anti-Semitic and racist leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, during his visit to the city last week.

During his visit to Detroit, Minister Farrakhan was invited by Rev. Wendell Anthony, President of the Detroit Branch of the NAACP, to address the Fellowship Chapel on May 17. His speech, which was attended by U.S. Rep. John Conyers and Detroit City Councilmember JoAnn Watson, among other prominent city leaders, invoked hateful anti-Semitic canards and open racism. Thus far, none of the leaders present for his remarks have publicly condemned Minister Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic rhetoric, and several have praised him.

“Although we acknowledge the significant challenges that Detroit faces, providing a platform to an individual with a long history of promoting anti-Semitism and racism is not the solution,” said Heidi Budaj, ADL Detroit Regional Director. “It is deeply disappointing that so many Detroit leaders are apparently so willing to turn a blind eye to Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism. Where are the voices in our community who are willing to stand up and say no to racism and anti-Semitism?”

During his speech to the congregation at The Fellowship Chapel in Detroit, Minister Farrakhan spewed hateful anti-Semitic invective, referring to “Satanic Jews” and the “Synagogue of Satan” supposedly controlling major institutions. He expressed his love for President Barack Obama, but added that the president “surrounded himself with Satan...members of the Jewish community.”

As head of the Nation of Islam, Minister Farrakhan has espoused bigoted and anti-Semitic rhetoric over the past 30 years. In recent years, the NOI’s campaign to demonize Jews, whites, the LGBT community, and others has continued unabated. Not only have the recent speeches delivered by Farrakhan been among the most hateful of his career, but the organization’s media arm has also reinforced these messages through a range of anti-Semitic propaganda.

More information on Farrakhan’s long record of anti-Semitic and bigoted rhetoric is available on the League’s web site.

Maybe you lunatics will enjoy this:

The final thing is the destruction. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told us of a giant Mother Plane that is made like the universe, spheres within spheres. White people call them unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Ezekiel, in the Old Testament, saw a wheel that looked like a cloud by day, but a pillar of fire by night. The Hon. Elijah Muhammad said that that wheel was built on the island of Nippon, which is now called Japan, by some of the original scientists. It took 15 billion dollars in gold at that time to build it. It is made of the toughest steel. America does not yet know the composition of the steel used to make an instrument like it. It is a circular plane, and the Bible says that it never makes turns. Because of its circular nature it can stop and travel in all directions at speeds of thousands of miles per hour. He said there are 1,500 small wheels in this Mother Wheel, which is a half mile by-a-half-mile. This Mother Wheel is like a small human built planet. Each one of these small planes carry three bombs.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said these planes were used to set up mountains on the earth. The Qur'an says it like this: We have raised mountains on the earth lest it convulse with you. How do you raise a mountain, and what is the purpose of a mountain? Have you ever tried to balance a tire? You use weights to keep the tire balanced. That's how the earth is balanced, with mountain ranges. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that we have a type of bomb that, when it strikes the earth a drill on it is timed to go into the earth and explode at the height that you wish the mountain to be. If you wish to take the mountain up a mile, you time the drill to go a mile in and then explode. The bombs these planes have are timed to go one mile down and bring up a mountain one mile high, but it will destroy everything within a 50 square mile radius. The White man writes in his above top secret memos about the UFOs. He sees them around his military installations like they are spying.

That Mother Wheel is a dreadful looking thing. White folks are making movies now to make these planes look like fiction, but it is based on something real. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that the Mother Plane is so powerful, that with sound reverberating in the atmosphere, just with a sound, she can crumble buildings. And the final act of destruction will be that Allah will make a wall out of the atmosphere over and around North America. You will see it, but you won't be able to penetrate it. He said Allah (God) will cut a shortage in gravity and a fire will start from 13-layers up and burn down, burning the atmosphere. When it gets to the earth, it will burn everything. It will burn for 310 years and take 690 years to cool off.

Exactly 690 years.

Dianetics? I wouldnt have guessed he'd be into that kind of thing. Lesson ---> You can never tell who a person will get along with.

From Wiki:

On May 8, 2010, Farrakhan publicly announced his embrace of Dianetics and has actively encouraged Nation of Islam members to undergo auditing from the Church of Scientology. Although he has stressed that he is not a Scientologist, but only a believer in Dianetics and the theories related to it, the Church honored Farrakhan previously during its 2006 Ebony Awakening awards ceremony (which he did not attend).

Since the announcement in 2010, the Nation of Islam has been hosting its own dianetics courses and its own graduation ceremonies. At the third such ceremony, which was held on Saviours Day 2013, it was announced that nearly 8500 members of the organisation had undergone dianetics auditing. The Organisation announced it had graduated 1055 auditors and had delivered 82424 hours of auditing. The graduation ceremony was certified by the Church of Scientology, and the Nation of Islam members received official certification. The ceremony was attended by Shane Woodruff, vice-president of the Church of Scientology’s Celebrity Centre International. He stated that "The unfolding story of the Nation of Islam and Dianetics is bold, It is determined and it is absolutely committed to restoring freedom and wiping hell from the face of this planet.”

Thousands chant ‘Allahu Akbar’ for Farrakhan in Detroit

The Nation of Islam had its annual gathering in Detroit over the weekend and thousands of attendees chanted “Allahu Akbar” as Louis Farrakhan made his way onto the stage.

During his appearance at Joe Louis Arena, Farrakhan denounced Jews and told them they are not God’s “chosen” people.

“I want to disabuse the Jews today of the false claim that you are the chosen of God — that Israel or Palestine belongs to you,” he said.

“I want to disabuse you of that. I’m going to tell you about your future. You that think you have power to frighten and dominate the peoples of the world. I’m here to announce the end of your time,” Farrakhan said, slamming his hand on the podium.

He blamed the world’s ills on white people.

“For 6,000 years, the people of the earth have suffered under a mischief-making rule. Bloodshed and war, hatred and strife, all because a man with a new color — or the lack thereof — thought that he was better than all of those who inhabited the earth before he was even a thought,” Farrakhan said.

“But I am here to announce today the end of his world and the beginning of a brand new reality that all human beings will enjoy peace, freedom justice and equality under the rule of Allah.”

Farrakhan said he wants to work with Barack Obama to curb Chicago’s out-of-control violence.

The Detroit Free Press reports:

Farrakhan also directed remarks to former President Barack Obama: “Let’s have coffee” to talk about ways to help Chicago and avoid having to bring in troops.
