LOVE Warner in Redraft. OK - NOW WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF HIM (1 Viewer)

I thought Warner was a very valuable QB to have this year BEFORE he was named the starter as I'm not a big Leinart believer and Kurt really got it done last year when he played. The old man still has it and even though the Cards wanted their future plans to come to be it turns out what many thought would happen in season, a Leinart benching, has actually happened to start the year. Actually, it hurts the potential value you could have gotten out of Warner if you draft late as opposed to early (before he was named starter) if knew in your gut he would be the guy all along (like many of us did). Now my thoughts are turning this way: What do you guys think of Warner's dynasty value now? Are the Cards really saying Warner is their guy? If so, for how long? Much would depend on Leinart, if he never develops, Warner can keep throwing to two All Pro wideouts on a team that needs to throw to stay in games. Good combo. So where does this put Warner now in the dynasty/keeper realm?

I took him with my last pick in my dynasty league, but really don't plan on keeping him as this should be one of his last seasons. I think Warner was interviewed in the 1st pre-season game saying he wanted to play 2 more seasons. So his future as the Arizona QB is short even if he holds on to the job. He is dynasty depth for this year only and that's about it.

Giving the job to Leinart at this point would be doing Warner a huge injustice not to mention just plain stupid.
