A quick and easy poll...

I'm a Palmer [DYNASTY] owner in a salcap league... and will be looking to add a second QB at the rookie/FaVet upcoming draft this weekend...

We are only allowed to carry 2 (salaries for QB are ridiculous) - and are only allowed to make 3 moves during the season...

This setup would mean that my QB pick has:

1. To play early (from week one on);

2. To remain the starter for as long as possible (in case of a Palmer setback);

From this - who do you think will remain the starter for his NFL team the longest this year?...

(Or would you just pick up Anthony Wright and be containt with a 0 on the Bengals Bye week?)

i would probably roll the dice and take Kitna, though.
I think Frye starts the longest but for your choice I almost take the Bengals backup and a 0 on the bye. The Bengals have a very good offense and I think overall that may score you more points over the long haul than filling in on a mediocre at best offense while Palmer is out.

I think Kitna is the safe bet here.

Barring injury, I think these guys keep their jobs except for Grossman, who might not make it to week 1, and possibly Volek late in the year when Tenn is out of the hunt.

Frye and Kitna are by far the most secure out of the ones you listed.

If you are asking me what I would do if I were you, not knowing the details of your league, I would get Kitna to go along with Palmer.

The positive from this is: You have a starting QB from a top notch offense all year long (Wright than Palmer... back to Wright in case Palmer has setbacks)... but the negative are: you lose one week for sure (QBs score 20 points approximately in that league with the overall score being in the 80s) and you might miss on Frye/Kitna having good seasons that would help you decice on your starting QB week-in week-out

The converse of the situation above...I still don't know what I'm aiming for...At least, it's down to:1. Wright (i.e. Bengals Team QB);or2. Kitna or Frye... not the others...

I'd go with Kitna. I think that Frye's job is probably the most secure, but only by a touch. I think that Kitna's potential is much higher than Frye's though.

Kitna and Frye are probably safe for the year.

Wright is almost certain to lose his job.

Volek- I dunno. I would think it's his job until the TItans season is down the toilet, and then they probably let Young develop.

Grossman- doesn't seem very secure with an injury history and a strong backup.

Losman- is this guy even the starter? The best case scenario for the Buffalo QBs isn't very good. I would avoid them.
