It appears as though LT is ready to carve out a big niche in the Jets offense- he apparently has earned the trust of the Jets coaching staff early and will at least split touches with Greene this year. He also appeared to have some fire in his belly after plays while Greene looked a bit lost for some reason.

Thoughts on LT's role going forward?

If Greene keeps fumbling and dropping passes, LT's role will only grow as the season progresses.

LT looked pretty good tonight, Shonne - not so much.

It's only one game, but I would be buying LT if you can.

Jets already have the worst starting QB in the league.....might as well add the worst starting RB as well.

If they played a mediocre D, LT would have had 100 yds and a td.

It's not saying a ton but he was their best player on offense tonight. He's the only one that made any type of positive play.

Actually if LT was starter he would be a 3 down back and I would take him over almost every RBBC except KC/Charles behind a great offensive line. He would also not get pulled at the goal line either....
