Sure. Just like any other stupid "truth" that seeps into public consciousness and a lot of the masses buy into. Maybe I ran in different circles, but this one popped up enough with family members and friends getting into psychic mumbo jumbo that yes, I am tired of it. It's reinforced by books helping you tap into your brain's unused potential and movies like this and Limitless. Just enough so these people go on thinking they aren't ignorant.

It does. Movies suspend belief, but I have to buy into whatever fantasy premise they create.

Scarlett Johansson is super hot. I also think she is a really good actor. She was fine in this role.

However, the movie wasn't very good. The premise sucked. And even if you want to buy the premise, most of the journey was stupid and the ending ridiculous.

The first 10 or 15 minutes were really good, loved the cuts back and forth. I'll give it a generous 2 out of 5 stars.

I enjoyed it and agree with Fennis the first part of the movie is the best. The cuts to the mousetrap then the cheetah chasing the gazelle were the best. Scarlett was very good in this movie. You could tell she was losing her humanity.

It did become a little Matrix-y and Morgan Freeman was kinda wasted. He mostly seemed to stand around with his mouth open.

Edit - Went with my daughter and her lesbian friend (call her A). I have known A since junior high (they are both 22). I told my daughter this is the 4th movie we have seen this year with Scarlett Johannson. A chimes in, "Nothing wrong with that, she is so hot"

I thought it as more of an art movie than an action style movie. Since it was only 90 minutes, I figured that the shoot for the movie only took 2-3 weeks, which is rather short for a movie. Lots of CGI and cut scenes where we rarely saw the real people of the film.

I'd give it 2/4 stars. It's a good movie to see in the theater but I don't see it as a "must see". It's in the level of a matinee/wait for the blu-ray. I do see a "cult following" developing though with the film.

No, the first 20-25 minutes are the best parts of the movie and hardly any of that is shown in the trailer
