Lynch owners, You playing him @ NYJ? (1 Viewer)

Fred Jackson has expressed he wants to be in more and with Lynch consistantly dropping WIDE OPEN screen passes that would be large gains, I'd think the staff would want to incorporate Jackson even more.

Fred Jackson acknowledged that he was tossing and turning in his bed until 5 a. m. Monday after the Buffalo Bills trudged home with their sixth loss in seven games. Perhaps his sleepless night was a result of not being very tired after watching almost the entire game. Jackson failed to touch the ball and stewed on the sideline over his limited role during the 16-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins in Toronto. Once counted upon to change the pace of the offense, he played only six plays and was helpless while the Bills failed to score a touchdown for the second straight game. "It was pretty frustrating to know that the guys were out there struggling, and you wanted to be out there to help them and weren't getting opportunities," Jackson said. "It's just something where you have to grin and bear it, so to speak. They were out there trying their hardest. I just wasn't able to help them."
- CBS SPORTSLINEEarlier this season Lynch had 9 carries for 16 yards vs the Jets and I'd think the Jets DST would want to get back on track. Does it matter what QB starts? If your benching him tell me who you are replacing him with etc.I may keep J. Stewart at RB2 and put in Cotchery vs Buffalo over Lynch at Flex.

He had a very bad game in Toronto. I'm not sure that deserves a "constantly dropping wide open" line in caps as if he'd had hands of stone for 2 months, or that he's the 3rd down back in the first place. I'm sure Jackson will get carries because he was all season up until last week. I'm also sure I wouldn't play Hightower, Stewart, or Cotchery over him.

I think the QB matters alot more than Fred Jackson. Losman is terrible at sustaining drives. If Edwards is playing, I'd play Lynch, for sure, but it looks like he's doubtful. The Jet defense has not been playing like they were in the first matchup. They are still limiting RBs, but they've been getting whipped through the air over the last month. Lynch should catch those screen passes this week, and a short TD plunge after a bomb to Evans is always a possibility. Besides, it's not like Cotchery has been lighting it up himself. I'd play Lynch over him, but I would play Stewart over both.

I'm definitely starting Westy and Deangelo, but switching back and forth between Lynch and Portis. Have Portis in there right now.

I am undecided on either Lynch or Braylon at my flex... Lynch is in my lineup now and will most likely stay. Braylon should be due though right??? lol...

Rhodes will be in my backfield Sunday in place of Marshawn.

I am benching him for the first time all season. Between sammy morris, pierre thomas, brandon jacobs/derrick ward. i think it's the right move. Especially with Losman at qb.

I own Lynch and I am a Bills fan. I just cannot convince myself that he is start worthy. The Jets are #4 against the run and the play calling of the Bills is mind numbing. They bring in Jackson on short yardage when MOST INTELLIGENT teams would bring in their power back. Also , against San Fran, I think that Marshawn had 16 carries for 138 yards. Why would you ever give a guy like that 20-25 carries. Why would you possibly want to win the game.

I think that Lynch will be a steal next year but right now this team is a complete mess.

Rhodes or Lynch...keep going back and forth...Loseman is the wild card...the thing is he has played well against the JETS...in 3 games: 35-58, 598 yards, 4 TD's, 1 INT and 1 rushing TD...some guys just play well against certain teams...I have Lynch and Evans and I have started both all year...still waiting for that game Evans blows up...hate to have him on my bench when it happens...11-3 this year with them in my lineup just don't think I can put Rhodes and Branch in place of them no matter how much sense it makes.

I'm starting Lynch and Rhodes. My only other choices are McClain or McGahee....ugh! I could get Maurice Morris off the WW, but I really can't see myself starting Mo-Mo in a playoff game.

I have Bills and Jets D on my team and Im a Bills Homer. If JP starts this game, I gotta go with the Jets D on this one. He is a horrible qb and he is always getting intercepted or fumbling the ball. He has a cannon as an arm and can run but cant do anything else. If only Trent had JP's arm we would have been in a lot better position this year.

Lynch scares me this week, that said the Jet's run D is not playing as well as they were earlier in the year. 2 weeks ago Peyton Hillis burned em and last week Gore was having a nice first half before the injury. Depend who ya got, I'm playing him as my RB2 ahead of Hightower and Jerious Norwood (not great choices).

I'm leaning towards putting Lynch on my bench and going with Dunn @ ATL. I can't believe I'm thinking of sitting the guy I took with the 15th pick, but in a PPR I'm pretty sure Dunn is the safer play. I also can't believe I advanced last week with what I got from Lynch and Addai. :goodposting:

He's in my lineup as of today as my flex.

Chris Johnson and Kevin Smith (matchup) are RB1 & RB2, leaving Marion Barber and Lynch as the flex options.

I'm not crazy about Lynch this week at all, but with MBIII looking like a game-time-decision on Sunday night, I can't take the chance with him.

The whole Bills O Line can't block Jenkins. I'd love to see Lynch run for a year behind a good run blocking line.

I seriously considered benching Lynch, and might have if I had nabbed Branch off the free agent list, but for now he and Braylon are flex plays for me, ahead of M. Harrison (since I have Rhodes, want to spread the possibilities with the need to score high in the playoffs) and Fargas, and C. Taylor. Yes, I'm in the semis with these crappy choices , but its a 14-team redraft league where we start 7 RB/WR/TE, so the talent is consistently spread thin.

Have to choose between Marshawn, Ronnie, Pierre, and K. Smith. Not excited about any of them...

I'm considering benching him, and playing Kevin Smith. Am I nuts?
Same boat here. I like Smith this week. Good receiver out of the backfield, so he should still be involved when the Lions are down by 30, and he runs hard. Indy's run D isn't as bad as it used to be, but it's nothing like Minnesota's or Carolina's and he was respectable against both of them.

Fear not Lynch owners, I'm benching him in favor of Jon Stewart this week so I'm sure he'll rattle off 125 rushing yards and two TDs.

I'm also toying with the idea of playing Sproles over Lynch in a PPR, and 1pt per 25 KR and 1 pt per 20 PR yards, So Sproles could have 20 rushing, 100 KR, 20 PR and 2 catches for 20 yards and get me 11 points, Does anyone think that is a lock?

Lynch could go 30 yards and nothing or 60 and a td with 3 catches for 25 yards..... Risky.

I may just role with Sproles, LT and Stewart... Thoughts on Sproles vs. Lynch...

Lynch has a better chance at a TD than Dunn. Caddy is taking all the goal line and many of the redzone carries.
