Jon Hamm always looks like he's on day three of a cocaine, whiskey and hookers bender.
That's not bad seeing as he is more than likely going on three weeks of such benders. It's a testimate to his beauty.
He is a good looking man. :wub:Thx, mojo, for the update on the premiere.

Is there a way to watch Mad Men legally during the season if you don't have cable? Have been contemplating ditching it, but things like this always keep me from going all the way.

There are some weird people over here. And some that are rather interesting

Mad Men Secrets

 the first word in the url is hashed out. It's the "F" word, kids.

Re-watched everything end of last year/beginning of this. Saw it kind of differently.I like Don less. I initially thought of him as a really good guy who was flawed because of a difficult upbringing. But now I find that I have a lot less sympathy for him, as I don't really believe that he's ever learned much and is still pretty selfish. It is certainly possible that I was too enamored of the Draper mystique the first time around to catch this.I liked Pete more. I initially thought of him as kind of a spineless, charmless weasel, but now see him as having a lot more character. He's a really strong influence on the firm and I think that he does actually try to do the right thing and be a good person, despite the emotional shortcomings in his own upbringing.

You and I look at the moral implications of rape very differently.

Who did Pete rape?
The neighbors' busty German nanny.

Re-watching it from the start...Don was a real ### hole to his brother
Yeah but you can see why. Adam could have ruined everything for him. Don didn't know how to handle it.
Agreed on the Don not being able to handle it. But if he would have thought it through, he could have said Adam was a cousin. Adam wouldn't have cared, he just wanted to be part of Dons/##### life. Adam didn't want anything else but to belong

hmmm, I did not really view that scene in that way, but yes, I will agree that that wasn't his finest hour. I think that Don is a bit of an emotional vampire, though. The whole Faye/Megan thing is really pretty horrible.

Agreed. Don basically does whatever makes him happy and I'm not sure how much he cares about the consequences in most cases.

Well...yeah.

“Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f'n idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.” - Don Draper

No dramatic moments but a lot of humor to kick things off. :lmao: at Pete's bewildered, terrified expression when he saw Peggy pushing the baby carriage.

Great lines tonight

Bobby: How old are you going to be?

Don: 40. And when you are 40, how old will I be?

Bobby: Dead

Sally: You coming in?

Don: No but give Morticia and Lurch my love

The Roger and Harry office scene was awesome.

Seeing Don mellow and happy at work was strange. The whole epsiode was kind of strange.

Yeah I don't like happy Don as much as brooding Don. A little concerned about where his character is going. Clearly the marriage will get rockier but I want more of him in the office mixing it up.
