Skins' cut 2008 second-round WR Devin Thomas
Redskins released WR Devin Thomas.
The team was actively looking to trade Thomas over the past week, though no team was willing to part with a late-round pick. Thomas mustered only 40 receptions in 34 career games, and was never able to establish himself on offense following the arrival of head coach Mike Shanahan. Thomas is under contract for the league minimum through 2011, and will undoubtedly latch on with a wide receiver thin team such as the Rams. Oct. 9 - 11:03 am et

You can probably add Jared Cook to that list of flubs as well, but he still has a shot to do something. Win some, lose some. I pick some winners too, but this wasn't good on my part.
