People act like NFL teams don't get fooled by hype. I doubt Te'o slips too far, but I'm also guessing anyone thinking of drafting Te'o early are giving Minter a second look if they're considering a MLB in the draft.Considering Te'o is already a confirmed no show for the Senior Bowl, and considering I expect him to no show the combine, he's going to have to ace his Pro Day and private interviews to maintain his prior draft ratings. But why go out of your way to bring up the dead girlfriend, even when a reporter didn't ask about her? I could understand if he had been cornered by the media or something, but to VOLUNTEER the story multiple times?? That doesn't make sense.Also, don't forget that he DID avoid the topic of his girlfriend at the press conference before the BCS title game. So at some point between December 9th and January 3rd he decided to stop mentioning her. But he had no problem spreading the myth for several days after he allegedly knew the story was fake.
