Marcus Vick Turns Himself Into Suffolk Magistrate Office

Marcus Vick turned himself into the Magistrate's Office in Suffolk Monday afternoon, after three warrants were issued for his arrest.

Vick is accused by three individuals of brandishing a firearm at them Sunday night. Two of the victims are adults and one is a 17-year-old.

Friday, Vick was dismissed from the Virginia Tech football program for his unsportsmanlike conduct during the second quarter of the Gator Bowl January 2.

It was also disclosed Friday, that Vick had been stopped for speeding and driving with a revoked or suspended license on December 17. Vick's license was taken away in August 2004 when he was cited for reckless driving and marijuana possession.

Because things like this never happen to NFL players?This kid has a target as big as all outdoors on him now. I'd be suprised if these accusations hold up.

 
If I'm an NFL GM I don't trust this guy with the keys to my franchise. No way do I draft him as a Q.B. My Q.B. has to be a leader. He has to be responsible.Do I put the stopwatch on him and if he has near the speed of his brother do I take a late round flyer on him as maybe a W.R., yeah, maybe, but he does not appear to me to have his brother's speed. I'd need to see the stopwatch.

dude if he was fast he would never have turned himself in.
 
Even if Vick never got into any trouble, he might not get drafted anyway.

Ignoring his legal and off the field troubles for a moment, does Marcus Vick actually have the talent to be a quality NFL starter or is he just another Clarett?There are some players who are worth the trouble. The original LT would be a good example. But I don't get the impression that Marcus Vick is a blue chip prospect. He has a lot of holes in his game. Even without the legal troubles, would he project to be picked in the first couple rounds?

If his name was Marcus Jones no one would consider drafting him.

Given the depth of Vick's problems both on field and off, I am not even sure his name gets him drafted on the second day this April. At this point he should just hope for a camp invite from the Falcons.

Does anyone remember that warm-and-fuzzy piece ESPN did on him early in the season? It was all about how he's changed, with the help of his brother, and was now so focused and mature. :lmao: I remember puking when I saw it. :thumbup:

The guy has problems sure, but remember the only reason Clarett isn't in the NFL right now is because of lack of talent and work ethic. If Marcus shows he has the talent to be in the NFL and convinces someone that he'll work hard, then he will be drafted. GM's are going to look at Michael and think that with the right development they can get #1 overall talent out of a 2nd day pick.
 
With Clarett it might even be just work ethic. Vick has the advantage of no time off, but with the disadvantage of not having been hyped as much before things unraveled.In some ways, it's surprising he didn't attend Miami.

Did I miss something? I did not think anyone thought Marcus Vick has #1 overall talent.

I'm really disappointed. I expected some good TV with Michael Irvin driving a white SUV down the interstate and Marcus in the back. After all, Irvin likes to help those in need. At least that's what his dealer told me. :lmao:
 
what is wrong with marcus vick? arrested AGAIN!!! this is a disrace. because of his reputation, he'll be drated lower and will be a backup. he'll get pissed and maybe go molest a little boy....hes got some problem and it ruins his football game. hes gotta take a year off, enter another college, win another bowl game without STEPPING INTENTIOINLLY ON SOMEONES LEG, re-establish his reputation as a great quarterback who doesnt get arrested, and maybe spend some time learning from michael, who happens to be a very good guy. he has already started to follow in the steps of maurice clarett, but dont act surprised if he is picked even on the firs day, because of his last name. im just so upset with marcus, he could be such a great player but he has to act like a moron off the field.

 
I live in Huntington WV and the rumor around here is that he has contacted Marshall about possibly coming here to sit out a year. Of course rumors get a little crazy around here, but I can see Marshall taking a chance on him since Moss paid off.

Wow, you Marshall folks are getting pretty desperate. Marcus is turning pro, and even if he didn't he couldn't transfer to a 1A school because he'd have no eligibility left after sitting out a year.
 
As usual, it's a womans fault. :DHe went to McD's in his BMW 745. His girlfriend got out to go inside. Two guys were arguing in the doorway. Supposedly, one of them called the other one a #####. She says they called her a #####. She went back to the car and told Marcus what happened and he went back and confronted them. "Who called my ho a #####?" Then came the gun.Women. :rolleyes:

Women and stupid morons like Vick that think they need to defend their woman's honor by threatening them with a gun. There are jerks in this world and getting yourself in legal trouble over them is idiotic.

Hey, nobody gonna call my ho, I mean, wife a ##### and get away with it. Except me. ;) Notice I put in the car. A BMW 745. Last year it was an Escalade. Must be nice to be a college kid driving around in those kind of cars. "Mike, I need a new car, this one's dirty."
