word.mud outniceLAUNCHThis is precisely why I think this thread is a scam...Posting jokes about your SIL when your marriage is at the very least is in trouble (alledgedly)...I dunno who is dumber...all the people who have invested 3 days in this or MITYH for not driving down to wherever Steve lives and beat the s### outta him regardless how close your relationship is...bro's before ho's ALWAYS and friends don't do this to other friends...you have had plenty of time to confront him...any "friend" who treated my wife like that would be pulling his d### outta his mouth.JMHO...Pie Man

#### eloquenceETA:I have read all 2500 posts and know it has been mentioned, but it has not been so eloquently stated until now. This is brilliant!! Really. If only someone had thought of it, say, 2000 posts ago. This is another good approach with her.manhat: honey, I know this has been tough on the both of us. I am really worried about you because I know what a snake steve is. I understand that you dont remember anything, so I think the best course of action is to get you tested for a std. If you truly cant remember anything, knowing steve, I dont feel comfortable being intimate with you until we know for sure.manhat wife:Have you thought about having your wife tested? If Steve is a player, god knows what he may be carrying around in that peestick of his. And now, for all you know, she may be carrying it too.um okormanhat wife:

Like an hour later? If my boobs are out of my bra for more than a few minutes, unless I've been breastfeeding for a year, I'm noticing no matter how drunk I am. Its damn uncomfortable.1. I think I explained this. We're talking about people she considered friends, and whom we've both known for years. Never in my wildest dreams did I think one of these guys would try something on my wife.2. This is a good question. 3. She did realize it. She told me about it, but said she didn't know how it happened.Seems like fishing for the following reasons:1. What guy doesn't go check on his wife when a friend says that she's in a stall with a guy and he better go check it out when she's plastered and recently confessed to you that she had a crush on him?2. If they are in a stall how does anyone know that she was holding his "weiner"?3. She didn't realize her extremely large breasts were out of her bra? This would seem to be very uncomfortable. Early_10 might be able to give accurate feedback on the feasibility of this but it seems like something a guy would make up.
Established psychological reaction. Whoops, that was a Sudsy posting. I need to find my DW persona.Wow.The marriage as they have known it is over. When trust died and suspicion (and probably righteous suspicion) entered, it was over. MITYH did not end this, nor can he by anything he does in reaction to what happened. The end already occured. She ended it along with Steve. MITYH was done to. He can end nothing. The halcyon days are gone for good. Can a new relationship with the same woman grow from the ashes, certainly. It could be done on behalf of the children, in respect to the original marriage, or for any number of reasons I cannot concieve. It will, however, be a new relationship. To outsiders it may seem a continuation, but to those going through it it will be something wholly new. It will be something that grows not from the unfettered youthful, even ignorant, optimism of new love. Rather it will be something that sprang into being in the face of harsh realities. Will it be stronger, more mature, more world weary, more resilient, who can say. The only certainty will be that it is something new.The new thing, will not, however, grow in the face of ongoing lies. Ongoing lies only prolong the agonizing death throws of the dying first relationship. Lies keep the fire burning hot so that nothing can rise like a phoenix from the cooling ashes.![]()

The wedding is tomorrow. It's not an actual ceremony, as they were married in Jamaica months ago. It's a very casual reception in my hometown. I've known the groom since first grade, great guy. Which is why I feel I should be there and why I know that's not the time or place for confrontation. Also, being as Steve and family are out of state (as I said), I'm not 100% sure they'll be there. All Steve's wife said last weekend was that it depended upon when they got back.As for when I'm going to talk to him, I don't even know where he is right now. I know some people have a problem with this, but he is not in state. He does not have a cell phone. I left a message on his machine in which I very casually and friendly told him to call me back when he can.MITYH keep us posted? Again, when is this wedding and when are you going to talk to sleeze? Me I wouldn't go to the wedding. There was a point that was made about people are going to be there who know and will make you snap at someone elses wedding and that's their day, don't ruin it over sleaze. Secondly take some pride in the fact that George and Sleave aren't man enough to man up to you and tell you what happened.

the wedding is a mistake if there's even a chance steve shows upif you must go, leave the wife at hometell her until you know if steve took advantage it is not safe for them to be at the same wedding, you are just looking out for herOK. Keep telling a lie long enough and eventually you even start to believe it yourself...story is a farce...I am mean c'mon dude...you really think another guy had his way with your wife and your marriage is in trouble you would be putting this much time and attention on a freakin FANTASY FOOTBALL MESSAGE board? The wedding is tomorrow. the Monk-E-Mail was betterI'm over 400 posts away from catching up to this story... WOW is it moving fast. At this point I'm agreeing with Playin4Beer. Hopefully someone asks how she reacted to being told she held another man's unit... no strong reaction to that statement would be a further red flag in my book.... man this is better than any novel I've read in years... back to reading.Been reading this thread on & off.....I'll add myI still wince when I think about the time I lied to my dad's face, looking him straight in the eye, and told him I was not smoking pot at Magic Mountain. She held eye contact? As much as I've been convinced something very bad went down, this is a good sign she's being honest with you now. Liars have trouble maintaining eye contact, unless they're seriously cold blooded. She sat kind of slumped on the couch, looking me in the eye. The eye contact was there the whole time I was talking, and the whole time she was responding. Which is why I think she truthfully does not remember anything. Of course she looked pretty run down and upset about it too.Whats her body language like while this is going on?OK, an update and some clarification.First, the update. After the kids went to bed last night, I told my wife we needed to sit down and talk. I confronted her with the information that not only was she in the stall with Steve, but she was holding his thing while he peed. I reiterated that when you put all of what I know together, the situation looks very, very bad. Considering everything, she still says she does not remember. I tend to believe that at this point. I then told her that I cannot move on from this until she talks to him and figures out what happened. She says she understands, but is scared and doesn't know how to approach him. I told her what I would do. We'll see how that goes. She did apologize for creating such a mess and hurting me, and it was very sincere. She thought after Wednesday's conversation about it that we were done talking about it, but with the new information I had, I said we could not be 'done'. So, she's feeling pretty bad about herself this morning. As for my posting updates. The majority of my very close friends know all of these people, and are not going to give me unbiased, third party advice. Not only that, but many of them don't need to know any of this. It's not really their business. So, I've been posting to this board. At this point I'll just say read it or don't. I'm past the point of giving a crap about the fishing cracks.![]()
then back off and continue to read the updates. She did something, she has a pretty good idea of what she did. She loves you and the kids and in no way wants a divorce. Admitting what she did might cause that. There is no visual proof of what she did. As long as she and Steve continue to deny it, there is no way to prove without a doubt anything differently.I know this won't make you feel any better, or give you any closure, but it's just my take.
