There was a point that was made about people are going to be there who know and will make you snap at someone elses wedding and that's their day, don't ruin it over sleaze. Secondly take some pride in the fact that George and Sleave aren't man enough to man up to you and tell you what happened.

The wedding is tomorrow. It's not an actual ceremony, as they were married in Jamaica months ago. It's a very casual reception in my hometown. I've known the groom since first grade, great guy. Which is why I feel I should be there and why I know that's not the time or place for confrontation. Also, being as Steve and family are out of state (as I said), I'm not 100% sure they'll be there. All Steve's wife said last weekend was that it depended upon when they got back.As for when I'm going to talk to him, I don't even know where he is right now. I know some people have a problem with this, but he is not in state. He does not have a cell phone. I left a message on his machine in which I very casually and friendly told him to call me back when he can.

OK, an update and some clarification.First, the update. After the kids went to bed last night, I told my wife we needed to sit down and talk. I confronted her with the information that not only was she in the stall with Steve, but she was holding his thing while he peed. I reiterated that when you put all of what I know together, the situation looks very, very bad. Considering everything, she still says she does not remember. I tend to believe that at this point. I then told her that I cannot move on from this until she talks to him and figures out what happened. She says she understands, but is scared and doesn't know how to approach him. I told her what I would do. We'll see how that goes.She did apologize for creating such a mess and hurting me, and it was very sincere. She thought after Wednesday's conversation about it that we were done talking about it, but with the new information I had, I said we could not be 'done'. So, she's feeling pretty bad about herself this morning.As for my posting updates. The majority of my very close friends know all of these people, and are not going to give me unbiased, third party advice. Not only that, but many of them don't need to know any of this. It's not really their business. So, I've been posting to this board.At this point I'll just say read it or don't. I'm past the point of giving a crap about the fishing cracks.

She sat kind of slumped on the couch, looking me in the eye. The eye contact was there the whole time I was talking, and the whole time she was responding. Which is why I think she truthfully does not remember anything. Of course she looked pretty run down and upset about it too.

Been reading this thread on & off.....I'll add my then back off and continue to read the updates. She did something, she has a pretty good idea of what she did. She loves you and the kids and in no way wants a divorce. Admitting what she did might cause that. There is no visual proof of what she did. As long as she and Steve continue to deny it, there is no way to prove without a doubt anything differently.I know this won't make you feel any better, or give you any closure, but it's just my take.

I'm going to try to keep this short sweet, but since I'm thinking about this and can't sleep, here goes.Every year, some friends organize a camping trip for a whole group of people. These are former college roomates and their significant others, most of whom we've known for close to ten years. This year's event happened over the weekend.Some backstory. I started my freshman year in college when I was twenty after taking a few years off. My now wife was friends with some of the guys I ended up living with when I arrived. We'll call one of these guys 'Steve'. I got to know Steve through some of my close friends, and I ended living with him for two years. Now, Steve was a nice enough guy, but he was a bit of a player. The opposite of me in that respect. I had my share of girl's I dated, but I was pretty low key when it came to hitting on women. Steve started dating his current wife about 6 months after I started dating my wife. We hung out quite a bit during our college years. Now, Steve is a nice guy, but he wasn't exactly faithful while dating this girl. My wife isn't aware of his indiscretions, and it's not my place to fill her in. In any case, I know the guy isn't one to turn down a free offer.Fast forward a few years. As husbands and wives sometimes do, my wife and I started having a discussion about college, and she told me that she had a huge crush on Steve before I met my wife. I wasn't really surprised by this, as they were kind of flirty. It never really bothered me though.Fast forward to last weekend's camping trip. Steve was there, along with many other friends and their significant others. This grouip always gets goofy when we get together, and joke about swapping wives and stuff. I never take any of it too seriously, and flirting is all in good fun. Friday night we all had our kids with us, but on Saturday, we all handed them off to grandparents, who all happened to live near the camping area. Our kid exchange didn't go all that smooth, as one of our boys was feeling a little sick Saturday morning. So, my wife and I were both stressed out. When we got back to the campground, my wife had her first drink. This was around 3. We ended up playing beach volleyball for a while, and then things start getting fuzzy for me.Somewhere between about 9 and 1 a.m., we ended up back at the campsite. I distincly remember three of the guys, inclusing Steve announcing they had to walk to the bathroom. I also remembr my wife saying 'me too' and walking with them toward the bathrooms. Five or so minutes later, two of the guys came back. One of them, we'll call him 'George' told me "Hey, you should go check on your wife, she went into the same stall as Steve". I laughed, because we're always doing goofy things like that to each other. Another 15 minutes or so (having a hard time with time) went by, and George looked and me and said "Dude, seriously. Where are those two? They went into the same stall together." I wondered about it, but again, played it off. A few minutes later, they came walking back to the site together. George asked them what was going on and Steve just laughed. I laughed it off, but now some pieces are starting to come together for me.Later that night, my wife wasn't feeling well, as she drank way too much. She walked up to the bathroom, and walked up a few minutes later to check on her. She was doing OK, but wanted to walk back to the campsite. As she walked out of the bathroom, she said "Hey, my #### are haning out of my bra." I asked how that happened, and she had no idea. Me being drunk and horny, I reach under her shirt and her bra is still fastned, but her breasts are out. Not easy to do with a big chest, so cleary she or someone else helped take those out.I laughed that off as well, until I started thinking about this yesterday. Last night, I brought this series of events up to my wife, and she does not remember any of it. I think way too many people are giving George a free pass here.Let me state first, none of this is his fault, he is not the main person to be pissed at, not even in the top 2, but my friendship with him would be OVERIf I see the drunken wife of one of my friends about to grab another guy's johnson OR go into a bathroom stal with him I stop it right there. If it meant taking a beat down, I'd be up for that, but these are all college buddies, so it would not have come to that. As others have pointed out, there are pieces of the puzzle missing.

1) You need to find out how the hell the guy knew she was holding his junk.

2) You need to find out why it was discussed with others and not you until you asked.

Need a woman's perspective here. If you blacked out, and were thereafter told that you were holding another guy's junk in the bathroom, that you went into a bathroom stall with this other guy, and came back to the campsite with this guy 15 minutes after everyone else, and then later discovered that your breasts were out of your bra, what would be your reaction? I would think that a woman who truly didn't remember would be absolutely freaking out, thinking that she may have been sexually assaulted or at the very least cheated on her husband. I would think that a woman who truly didn't remember would be just as interested in finding out what the hell happened, rather than responding with a "oh, I thought we were done talking about it" attitude. Am I off base?

Based on the evidence presented thus far, I am 99% positive that one of the following is true.

1) 71% - Wife is lying about not remembering anything, but was still very drunk at the time of the incident, and feels terrible about what happened. She still loves MitYH, and wants to keep their marriage strong for them and their kids. She wants to put this behind them and is willing to lie to MitYH's face to do so.

2) 28% - Wife was so incredibly drunk that she does, in fact, not remember the incident. Steve was drunk, but not blackout wasted, therefore, Steve took advantage of YOUR WIFE while she was completely wasted out of her mind.

Therefore, I am completely ruling out the following:

1) Wife and Steve somehow planned this and have a thing for each other. This is not over and they may eventually want to be together.

2) Nothing harmful happened that night.

Either way, MitYH needs to MAN UP and lay the smack down. You have to get to the bottom of this and the friendship with Steve is completely cut off. He needs to handle things with Steve and the wife's communication with him should be cut off.

I agree. I would say that number 1 in your first scenarios is the most likely, and I would argue that it is likely that Steve was much more aware of what he was doing, so he took advantage of the situation.

I agree with that ... the wife was aware, but Steve was more aware and took advantage, hence the either way, Steve is a punk.

I don't care how drunk the wife was. Just because she was in a blackout state there is really no way for Steve to have known that. If you have ever experienced a blackout you would know this, it is very likely that you have seen a blackout experience in someone else and not known it. One can be very high functioning in this state.The point is that it is very possible that a drunk Chesty could have directly told Steve "Yes! I want to do this." whatever "this" ended up being (something none of us know yet). Hell she could have initiated the whole darn thing!

So again I ask, why is Steve getting all the blame? Because the wife says she's innocent? What happens when Steve says the same? Why does the wife get a pass and Steve doesn't.

Bottom line is that two drunk but consenting adults made a bad decision while under the influence of al-kee-hol, but only one of them should catch hell according to some in this thread. That's neither reasonable, nor just.
